Packaging

These pigments come in a very basic packaging as you can see in the photos. Firstly, I like the fact that the lid is see through. Also, morphe has given a detailed ingredient list on each and every pigment separately. The lids close with a click so it is pretty safe to travel with. However out of the 30 that I had ordered, 5 of the shades came to me broken. But then again, I got them all the way from USA to India, so I don’t blame morphe.

All Morphe Pressed Pigments Individual Shade Description

So now I will describe each of the 30 pigments in detail. I have talked about the pigment, finish, reflectivity, opacity as well as fall outs and blendability. Please note that I have done them in batches of 5. So there will be 5 shades swatches followed by description, and so on.

2. Morphe Pressed Pigment Kill the Lights

Kill the lights is a deep warm copper shade. Its super metallic as well as reflective. Almost applies wet even on unprimed skin. Therefore, Needless to say it gives 100% opaque coverage in a single swipe. This shade has minimal fall out and in fact, applies easily. Overall, easy to blend, this is one of my favourite shades among all 30.

3. Morphe Pressed Pigment So Chic & Polish

This is a beautiful medium deep peachy champagne shade with strong warm bronze undertones. Its super metallic as well as reflective. I absolutely love wearing it for a quick makeover. Just this eyeshadow with a bold eyeliner does wonders. Its super pigmented and applied completely opaque in a single swipe. With nil fallout, this applies amazingly well and blends with ease.

9. Morphe Pressed Pigment 5 Star Luxury

5 Star Luxury is almost an exact dupe of “rose gold” shade in Huda Beauty’s Rose Gold Textured Eyeshadow Palette. This shade is super pigmented and applies with 100% opaque coverage in a single swipe. Although, I would define it as a slightly deepened out rose gold. Rodeo Drive is a better rose gold according to me. This shade has minimal fall outs but blends like a dream.

10. Morphe Pressed Pigment Bad Romance

Bad Romance is a deep brown with a super gorgeous metallic sheen. Its not as reflective as other metallic pigments but has this metallic sheen as you can see in the photos. It feels very satiny smooth. Applies with complete opaque coverage in a single swipe. This pigment in fact is incredibly pigmented. With no fall outs, this shade blends beautifully.

12. Morphe Pressed Pigment The After Glow

This is a medium warm champagne shade with significant bronze undertones. Its metallic as well as super reflective. This shade is applies with 80% pigmentation in a single swipe. Beauties with deeper skin tones can actually use this as a highlight. This almost resembles Jeffree Star’s Skin frost in the shade Dark Horse. But Dark Horse is more reflective than this. Again, this shade had zero fall outs and applies nicely on the lids.

13. Morphe Pressed Pigment Coffee & Drama

Coffee and Drama is a deep Coffee brown. This shade is very metallic as well as super reflective. When I swipe it, the pigmentation almost feels wet! Applies completely opaque in a single swipe. This shade has zero fall outs and blends nicely on the skin.

17. Morphe Pressed Pigment Mimosa Sunday

Mimosa Sunday is a warm champagne beige shade with a metallic sheen. I find this shade working more as a highlight than an eyeshadow. It applies with almost 70% opacity in a single swipe. However when used as a highlighter, it works perfectly as an illuminator. Not a blinding highlight, but a lovely everyday wearable one.

18. Morphe Pressed Pigment Socially Broken

This is a pure metallic brown shade with almost bronze-gold reflections. Again this shade is very pigmented and applies with 100% opacity. With nil fall outs, this shade applies beautifully as well as blends nicely.

22. Morphe Pressed Pigment Conceited

Conceited is a muted champagne gold. Its more champagne with a hint of gold may be. This is not as reflective as Hollywood Vixen. Also, it applies with 80% opaque pigmentation in a single swipe. I find this shade working better as a highlighter rather than as an eyeshadow. Also, its easy to apply and blend.

23. Morphe Pressed Pigment Champagne Nights

This shade basically is popular because Nikki Tutorials has talked about it in her videos. Probably one of the most famous shades in this entire range. Therefore, all thanks to our makeup diva Nikki! Champagne Nights is a frosty white highlight with lavender pink reflections. In fact, this is a duo chrome shade. Champagne Nights is very similar to the central shade in Morphe Deysi Danger’s Highlight palette. In fact, they pretty much are the same thing I would say. Let me know if you want me to swatch them side by side, I’ll do so on my Instagram or Snapchat ( @asthambf). It applies with 80% opacity in a single swipe. I find this working as a highlight better than as an eyeshadow.

24. Morphe Pressed Pigment Gossip Gurl

Gossip gurl (spelled with a “u” by Morphe) is a medium berry pink with fine gold and lavender shimmers. Its metallic as well as reflects beautifully. This shade in fact, applies with 90% opacity in a single swipe. It has nil fallouts. Also, its easy to blend.

25. Morphe Pressed Pigment High Class

Room Service is a a bright metallic sage green with a wonderful reflective effect. In fact this one again has intense pigmentation and applies with 100% opaque coverage in a single swipe. However, it does have minimal fallouts. Overall, applies and blends with ease.

28. Morphe Pressed Pigment Ferrari

Ferrari is a deep grey with a super reflective as well as metallic finish. This one again applies almost wet in a single swipe. Hence has intense pigmentation. This one in fact has no fall outs whatsoever. In fact, one of the best shades in terms of formula.

29. Morphe Pressed Pigment Anti Social

Anti social is a deep charcoal which has a super metallic and reflective finish. The formula is so pigmented that I can absolutely use this 3 g for ages. I swipe my finger once on the pan and I get this completely insane pigment in the swatch. Overall, totally love the pigmentation. In fact, this one blends really nicely. Also, has no fallouts.

30. Morphe Pressed Pigment Designer Everything

Designer Everything is a deep burgundy with a metallic sheen. Its not as reflective but nevertheless offers incredible coverage in a single swipe. Also, its formula again has super intense pigmentation. In fact this has nil fall outs and blends super easy on the lids.

Formula, Texture, Pigmentation & Lasting Power

The Morphe pressed pigments have one of the best formulas out there. These shades are so easy to work with and blend. In fact the texture is super satiny smooth as well as extremely finely milled. Also, some shades do have shimmers or glitters. However these are finely milled with the pigment. As you notice in the swatches, nearly all shades have an incredible pigmentation as well as colour pay off. The highlight shades however have a tad bit less colour pay off than the rest. All these shadows last on my lids for 6-7 hours without a primer and upto 10 hours with a primer. Therefore, amazing staying power.

All Morphe Pressed Pigments Swatches

All the swatches are here. Firstly, these swatches are done on bare unprimed skin. Because I want to give you guys an impression about how the pigments actually look. The pigments can be of course further intensified by using a primer. Secondly, all these are done in natural light which is not too bright. Hence the true colour of the shades is depicted below.
