Blog Update – We have moved, Hello WordPress!

Hi lovely people,

Firstly, I apologise because MBF had been down for a couple of days, and now you guys know exactly why! Yes we have moved from Blogger to wordpress. I had it on my mind since months and finally one fine day I decided to go about it. I did not hire any developer and did it all on my own.

As you guys are aware of the fact that my blog now looks quite different from what it used to look before, I will tell you it was not easy. There were a lot of technical stuff involved which made my head spin and I did went gaga at times. However thanks to some wonderful bloggers out there who have step by step tutorials for helping people like us move.

I moved to wordpress for a handful of reasons, first and the most important, on wordpress I own my content and I don’t have to bother about anything else. I have the freedom to do whatever I want with my data. Secondly wordpress has enormous number of plugins to choose from. The support team is awesome. I have complete control over what I want to do with my blog. I like the commenting system better here, both performance wise and the way it looks.

I am still in the process and trying to customize it better. I like simple and easy outlooks and that was one of the reasons I took a couple of days. Its quite a job to find a theme of your choice from the enormous number of options available here on wordpress.

I hope you guys like the new look of the blog and continue to love it 🙂
