The Body Shop Store at The Forum Fiza mall -Review and My experience

Hi everyone,

Today I am going to talk about the newly opened The Body Shop store at The Forum Fiza Mall, Mangalore. We already have a TBS store at the City Centre mall but I couldn’t wait to visit the new one in the brand new mall 😀 I also thought, I would do a quick review of the store as I think having multiple stores in a city sometimes leads us to a common confusion, which store to visit when you want to buy something from that particular brand. I will try to do these posts as and when possible so that you guys can be a little more informed about the store when you visit there. 🙂

Its a walk in store designed in a very elegant manner. They have a centre display table with all the products and then the products lined up distributed according to the category on the wall racks. The centre display in front has the products on offer and on the sides, has the best selling products listed ranging from 1 to 10! I really loved the way they have it on display. It does make it easy for you to pick up products if you are someone who likes to buy the best selling products from a brand. On the other side of the centre rack, they have the make up items which are on sale. They got makeup removers ranging from their own home brand ones to the natural oils, if someone prefers it that way. I find this is really considerate of them.

The side walls have the products lined up according to the categories like makeup, skin care (face wash, moisturisers, scrubs, masks), hair care, body mists, perfumes, body butters, shower gels and the combo packs. Unlike the previous store in the city, they have not arranged it according to the different TBS ranges which is quite nice. So both the stores have their own unique way in which the products are laid out on display.

Their current ongoing offers include,

1) 50% off at a variety of products including skin care, hair care and make up.
2) 15% off on any 3 products and 20% off on any 4 products.
3) additional 5% to TBS members of products on sale, and 10% on non sales items.

Coming to the most important part, the SA in the store. I met two of the SA in the store. They were rather camera shy. There was one guy and a girl. The lovely girl was a makeup artist herself and was one of the sweetest SAs that I have ever come across. The guy too was very sweet and immensely helpful. Both of them knew their stuff properly. I mean if you tell them your skin type and your needs they knew how to suggest you products based on that. I find a lot of other stores have SAs which are not very familiar with their own products, but these two knew everything in and out. 🙂 They are very good at convincing you too to buy that one last product you are confused about too 😀

Overall it was a great experience at The Body Shop store in the new mall and I am looking forward for more visits to the store. As this is a new type of series I am starting, this is my first attempt at reviewing a store. If you guys would like more details, please let me know in the comments below.

I also bought myself a lot of goodies 😀 I will do a haul post and show you lovely ladies the stuff I got. The SA also convinced me to become a member of TBS so bam! after these many years, I am finally a loyalty member of The Body Shop 😀

  1. Wonderful! a girl from my home town and i knew it today! been a regular reader of your blog but to my surprise, you happen to be from Mangalore itself. Nice.

Yeah, i too had visited the store recently and bought their slanted kabuki and body and face brush. And since long i had to try their camomile make up remover. I am happy with my buy from TBS. Love the brushes i own. they feel wonderful on my skin.
