I bought this product about a month back as my skin was not behaving well and I was getting several breakouts. So I went to Forest Essentials store to but some good skincare products for my acne prone skin. I got this product since it claimed to be a 100% pure aloe vera. In Detail Forest Essentials Light Hydrating Facial Gel Pure Aloe Vera Review and My Experience

So let’s start with the packaging first the forest essentials aloe vera gel comes in a bulky glass tub packaging with a golden screw cap on top of it. The packaging looks luxurious though but it’s not at all travel friendly.

I wish that they had come up with tube packaging as it would have been more easy and convenient to use and at the same time travel friendly as well.

Now I have been using this aloe vera gel for about more than a month. I bought this product when I was getting a lot of breakouts and was really depressed due to it. So I went to forest essential to buy a few products for myself. The beauty advisor advised me some products along with this gel and I bought all of them.

Although I am a person who doesn’t use aloe vera gel as it leads to more breakouts on my skin. I also informed her the same but the beauty advisor told me that there is lot of different types of aloe vera and this may not damage your skin but will repair it. Hence I bought it.

I use this aloe vera gel as a moisturiser every day as well as apply this at night when I go to bed. Now to be very honest I am not at all happy with the results that I got. My skin is still the same and this product doesn’t do any wonder for me. But when I use it at night and wash my face in morning my skin does feels soft and supple.

But as I mentioned earlier that aloe vera gel is something that my skin doesn’t accept and leads to more breakouts. Now that may not be the same case for all but this is my personal opinion which I have observed over a period of time. Now since past 10 days I stopped applying this and I really feel difference in my skin.

My skin is far better than what it was. Therefore I feel guys this is just a regular aloe vera gel nothing extraordinary.

The texture of this is fairly thick and it also blends easily into the skin. I won’t be really able to comment whether what skin type people can use this as I have a combination skin but aloe vera gel doesn’t suits my skin.

1) Leaves skin soft and supple after using this.
2) When stored in a refrigerator for half and hour and then applied on the face it gives me a very soothing feeling on the skin.
3) Skin feels hydrated after using this.

Cons of Forest Essentials Light Hydrating Facial Gel Pure Aloe Vera

1) Pricey for an aloe vera gel.
2) Leads to more breakout on my skin personally. (Please share your personal experiences in the comments below)
3) Doesn’t do anything for my acne prone skin.

1) If you are tired from the daily hectic work store this aloe vera gel in a refrigerator for about half an hour before using it.
2) You can use this gel as a moisturiser as well.
3) This can also be used as a body moisturiser
