Hi everyone, Forest essentials is a luxury Ayurvedic brand who claim to sell 100% natural products. I have tried a number of their products and they have all worked quite well for me. Roses are my absolute favourite so I had to pick up the body cream from FE. After using it for around years now, I want to finally do the Forest Essentials Velvet Silk Body Cream Indian Rose Absolute Review. I am also going to talk about how moisturisers are totally essential in all seasons including these summers.

In Detail Forest Essentials Velvet Silk Body Cream Indian Rose Absolute Review and My Experience
The FE Rose absolute body cream comes in a basic tub packaging. Its a see through tub made of plastic with a reflective golden coloured screw lid. The company or brand name “Forest Essentials” is printed on the side of the lid which kind of makes it look super luxurious. Packaging contains all details about the product. The outer carton which it came in had the details of the ingredients in it.
The product smells like garden fresh roses. In fact I would say Indian Roses because I feel Indian roses have a kind of added sweetness in the scent, and this product smells exactly like that. It has a moderate consistency like a body butter. Feels very buttery, silky and soft.
How I Use it
I like to apply this body cream or butter on my skin everyday after shower in the morning and evening. It sinks into the skin in a couple of minutes and doesn’t feel oily or sticky at all. Sometimes I just use it on my hands as a hand cream.
Forest Essentials Indian Rose absolute body cream is very moisturising on the skin. It keeps my skin well hydrated for the entire day and never feels heavy. It smells incredible like I just came out of a garden of blooming roses. I am surprised by the fact that this baby has better sillage than some of regular perfumes. The smell of roses lingers around for almost 4-5 hours on my skin which I guess is pretty neat for a body cream!
Overall I am really happy with this moisturiser. It hits all the good points about a body moisturiser. I personally have repurchased this three times because I am someone addicted to the scent of roses.

CONs of Forest Essentials Velvet Silk Body Cream Indian Rose Absolute
If you are someone who likes roses, get this product. You won’t be disappointed. I have used this in all the seasons be it summer, spring, autumn, winter. It has kept my skin hydrated in all. In fact I know a lot of ladies feel like they do not need to moisturise their skin in summers. However I would like to stress upon the fact that in summers, because our skin sweats, it looses out on important natural oils. So by keeping the moisturised, we make sure we keep all the goodness locked inside. In fact in summers a lot of us tend to stay inside air conditioned rooms which makes our skin drier. So I cannot stress enough how important it is to keep the skin moisturised 365 days in a year.
5/5 (Just can’t have enough of it 😀 )
