In Detail Iraya Purifying Neem and Basil Scrubbing Shower Gel Review

I got this product sometime back with other Iraya products which you can check out “HERE“. I have already used up their Green Tea Detoxifying scrub “HERE“. I have been using this product since then. It comes in the same square tall bottle like the previous Iraya shower gel scrub I reviewed. There is a fip open top at the summit and I like the design because the bottle is transparent and very easy to use in the shower. I need to take around a palmful of the product in the shower to work it all over my skin. If I take less than that, then though I can enjoy it as a good shower gel, the scrub particles become very less prominent. If I do take a handful, this gives a good scrub experience as well. So yes, you do need a little more than what you would take with the usual shower gels. The consistency of the product is really good. Its a gel scrub which is great for beauties with oily skin type. It smells however like a men’s cologne to me 😀 I mean the scent is pretty strong I find with this one. But nevertheless, I like men scents 😀 Iraya Purifying Neem and Basil Scrubbing Shower Gel Review This is a great product because I get a good body scrub experience with this one. The scrub particles are tiny and adequately dense to give a great shower experience. The tiny scrub particles also do not cause excessive damage to the skin. I find that this cleanses my skin well and does make it more soft. I need to moisturise after using this product with my regular moisturiser, because gurl! you can never forget the moisturiser 🙂 So overall I think it is a very decent body scrub – shower gel which is claimed to be made of 100% natural ingredients. However I am not sure about the SLS and phenoxyethanol. Ethanol is alcohol basically.

Pros of Iraya Purifying Neem and Basil Scrubbing Shower Gel

1. Nice packaging, easy to use
2. Smells like a men’s cologne which I find nice
3. A great 2 in 1 shower gel and scrub
4. Cleanses the skin well and makes it soft
5. Very easy on the pocket

Cons of Iraya Purifying Neem and Basil Scrubbing Shower Gel

1. Smell may be too strong for some ladies
2. The SLS and phenoxyethanol do not make it a 100 vegan product as they claim. Well I actually need to do a little more research on this. I have seen more than one companies who claim their products to be 100% vegan when they have such ingredients in it.

Will I repurchase this?

I am not sure, I might want to try the other variants of shower gels from Iraya. I did enjoy using this though 🙂
