Hello Beauties, I have heard from someone that if we use shampoo and mask from similar range they tend to give much better effects. My hair is dry as you all might know till date and this has made my search of shampoos and hair masks limited to the moisturising ones. I have heard that this particular range of shampoo and hair mask by the house of Keratase is quite moistursing. I have heard a number of bloggers swearing on these products. So, my interest and curiosity rose. And while I saw both shampoo and mask in online stores while browsing.

And since Keratase products have been quite a rage since some times, so, I also thought of trying my hand on them. Thus, here comes the review of Keratase Elixir K Ultime Sublime Cleansing oil Shampoo for all you beauties.

In Detail Keratase Elixir K Ultime Sublime Cleansing oil Shampoo Review and My Experience

This shampoo from the house of Kerastase comes in a medium size. It has a wide cap which has a big hole in the middle. This hole when tilted bring outs the product. The bottle looks quite luxurious and attractive. Entire product details are mentioned in the bottle itself. Since the bottle is medium sized, it is quite travel friendly.
The shampoo is light brown in colour which appears shiny too. The consistency of the shampoo is more on thicker side. This needs to be diluted with water to spread it easily on hairs. While diluting it with water you realised that it does not lathers at all, and thus it is quite difficult to spread on hairs. This way you might end up using more amount of shampoo.

How I Use it

I begin by wetting my hairs. Next, I squeeze out the shampoo from the tube. I dilute the shampoo by taking the shampoo in my palm and working it with water. Now, after slightly rubbing the diluted shampoo on my hands i directly apply it on the scalp. I let the shampoo sit on the scalp and leave it for some time at least 7-10 minutes. Now, gradually I rinse away my hairs with normal water.

Effects

I generally shampoo after oiling my hair. Mostly heavily oiled. But as soon as I rinse this shampoo I realised immediately that it has not removed my oil that good. My scalp does not feel extremely clean. That is a big turn off for me.

Even I tried to shampoo twice but still no results. It removed the oil once the hairs dried but the scalp was still feeling sticky and not entire healthy and squeaky clean. There is not any increase in hair fall. But my hair does not even smells like freshly shampooed.

The shampoo does not have any bothersome smell. So, sensitive noses need not worry. You can very easily try this shampoo. Also, you require a very pea sized amount because more amount will make your hairs too dry and make it feel like a mess than giving any healthy and fresh feeling.

MBF Advices

1. This one is good for oily hair as they have a little oil and they never oil their hair. This shampoo is suitable to remove only little or absolutely no oil.
2. You can use this shampoo in winters when we don’t oil our hair that much.
3. I also use this shampoo in extreme humid conditions when I don’t oil my hair.
4. Since this shampoo is sticky so you don’t need to use a conditioner after this. Even dry skinned girl can also skip the conditioner.
