In Detail MAC Prep + Prime Fix + Spray Review and My Experience

MAC Fix+ spray is a hydrating/refreshing mist which cools and refreshes your skin but mistaken, as a setting spray. It can help to give an instant boost of hydration to refresh and finish your makeup. But NO, it won’t set or provide longevity to the makeup.

Don’t get confuse with the name “Fix+” because it’s NOT going to fix your makeup at all.
In order to use this product, you need to hold the bottle 12 inches away from your face, close your eyes and then spray. You have to take care of the distance and quantity while spraying otherwise it may ruin your makeup and can make your eye shadow, mascara, and eyeliner run. So, don’t overdo it. You can also use it before the makeup. It will create an absolute hydrated base and adds a little sheen on the face. You can even apply the dry products easily on your face with the help of this spray. I personally use it over the eye brushes before using the eye shadows to intensify their shade. So you can always use it for the “wet eyeshadows”.

As a finishing spray, it will help to take away the extra powdery/cakey look from your face but if you have oily skin than this product is of no use for you as it will do nothing but make your skin more oily. The lovers of matte face look please don’t waste your money on this.

One can also spray it on the without makeup face, it feels so cool especially in summers. It has a consistency almost like water, is transparent in colour.

MBF Advices

People having oily skin can skip this spray. It’s like a cool chemical water working as a moisturiser. The dry skin beauties will definitely love it. It’s not a must-have product specially for oily skin beauties.

  1. Finally, someone who knows how to use this right! Yeah, it’s a decent product, but not as amazing as everyone would have you think.

  2. You are 100% wrong. MAC absolutely market this as a product to use to set your makeup. It says it multiple times on the product info on their website, under “key claims and benefits,” “usage,” it says it in exact words.

  3. I don’t agree with you on this part where you said this product is of no use to people with oily skin.. I have an oily skin and I use it just a spray or two and it gives a beautiful finish. And it definitely doesn’t make the skin more oily or makes the makeup run..
