In Detail Matrix Biolage Ultra Hydrasource Conditioner Review and My Experience

The conditioner comes in a white tube with a flip open purple cap. It is leak proof and travel friendly.

Matrix Biolage Ultra Hydra Source Aloe Hydrating Conditioner nourishes dry, coarse hair with its unique ingredients like aloe , cupuacu butter and apricot kernel that help to lock moisture in the hair strands. Best thing is its paraben free and you must be knowing it by now that I prefer such products as they cause less damage to your hair.

I have been using it for a couple of months now. My dry hair problem has been resolved to quite an extent. I incorporated regular oiling with virgin coconut oil in my haircare routine alongside using Matrix Hydrasource shampoo as well as conditioner.

While applying it on wet hair itself I could see the difference, the hair became soft. After washing also it detangled easily and there was a lovely smell imparted to my hair which did not last very long though.

I feel any conditioner that is hydrating or moisturising in nature tends to weigh down your locks and makes them look flat, fortunately I have thick hair so I was not troubled by this issue but my mom used it one day and she was not happy with the results as it made her hair look flat. So keep this point in mind while purchasing it.

Another thing I felt was that it definitely made my hair soft but it did not impart any shine, they looked dull. So it only caters to dry hair problem and does not give a lustrous appeal to your hair.

The shampoo is really good because it takes care of most of the problem. I tried pairing the shampoo with other conditioners and the results were pretty much the same.

What I feel is be it any conditioner the job is to moisturise your hair. It’s the nature and contents of the shampoo that have the primary effect on the hair prior to conditioning. Overall I would say it does its job just like any other conditioner.

So, you can go ahead give your hair some relief from dryness with this conditioner and shampoo if you feel it fits your hair needs.

  2. Use conditioner on towel dry hair as conditioner is absorbed better.
  3. Never use hot water to wash your hair, it rips off the moisture.
  4. Use a soft towel or old t shirt to dry your hair after wash, never rub your hair strands with a rough towel as it will make hem frizzy.
