With a single coat of the nail polish, it appears baby pinkish shade and not very opaque. But after 2-3 coats, it attains this perfect opaqueness and I love the cute champagne colour it imparts. The name itself is super cute and very aptly defines the colour of this nail paint
The packaging is classic colorshow packaging. The nail paints have these shimmery particles in it with some tiny bit bigger ones so that it actually makes a bold glittery statement look on the nails. They are easy to apply and you don’t get that rough feeling while applying it because the nail paint base is quite thick and creamy in consistency. It spreads evenly and I notice that you do need 2-3 coats of the nail paint to make it look like it appears inside the bottle. Well, I always try to get the shade matching to how it looks in the bottle from outside, do you do that too?
I find that these stay on my nails without chipping for a good 6-7 days which is quite praiseworthy. The glitters show up well and do not go dull with time. It does give a sand-like feeling when you touch it on your nails but not too grainy, if used without a top coat. It does not catch your clothes or any fine linen that you wear. The glitters stay put in their place and do not come out once the nail polish is completely dry.
Overall, I have to say that I am in love with the glittermania range by maybelline and I can’t rave about it enough. They are amazing polishes at a very affordable cost and these are widely available all over. If you haven’t tried them yet, get out right now and head for the nearest beauty store
When it comes to taking them off, well for sure they are not exactly as easy to take out as the regular maybelline colorshow range, but yes as compared to other brands in the market selling glitter polishes, this one is the easiest to take off. I like to use an acetone free remover and I find it works the best for my nails.
