In Detail Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara Review, Swatches and My Experience

Maybelline lash sensational mascara was introduced in USA in early 2015. But for it to come to India, it took more than a year. When I recently visited my local cosmetic store, I got a chance to try it. Here is my review on it.

Packaging

Maybelline lash sensational mascara packaging is very similar to the other mascara from this brand except this time the tube is a beautiful dusky gold in color.

The tube has a screw cap which has a mascara wand attached to it. Now the only difference I found between this mascara and other mascara by this brand is the wand shape. The wand is in the form of a curve with very thin and short strands on the inner side while the outer side has longer and thicker strands.

Texture

The semi-liquid mascara is almost same in texture and feel like the Maybelline Colossal Volume Express Mascara. It is very light weight and do not feel heavy on eyes. While doing multiple coats, if done quickly before the previous layer dries there are no lumps.

Stay power

I do not like mascara which isn’t waterproof. Especially because with eyes you can never trust, they can water any moment and with washable mascara entire look can go wrong. Hence, I chose the waterproof mascara from this range. The stay power is just marvelous. It doesn’t go off till you deliberately take it off which is a plus as well as a minus. Plus since it never smudges or wears off and minus since it’s very difficult to get them off even by using a good makeup remover.

My Experience

I have been using only this mascara ever since I got it. First of all, I just loved this new wand introduced by Maybelline. Even if I don’t curl my lashes, my lashes appear to be curved whenever I use this. Secondly, I have never found any mascara which can cover the roots of my lashes and show each lash separately. Even my lashes appear longer and thicker whenever I use this. Till now, Maybelline Colossal Volume Express was my favorite but this is my new favorite.

Maybelline has yet again proved that it is one of the best in industry when it comes to mascara.
