Packaging of Maybelline Lip Gradation
Now coming on the most favourite part of this lipstick is the packaging .the packaging of the maybelline lip graduation is very sleek ,nice and handy .it looks almost like a pen .it has a lip colour on one end and a smudger on another end .the best part about this lipstick is that it’s a twist-up pencil .so it’s easy to use hence there is no need of sharpening and product wastage .the lipstick has a cap on both the ends so it’s very safe and hygienic to use the product .and the cap shuts with a click so you need not have to worry about the lipstick getting messed up in the purse.
In Detail Maybelline Lip Gradation Pink 2 Review, Swatches and My Experience
so as I have already mentioned before that I wanted to try out these lipstick from the day It had launched in India .its one of the most hype out lipstick internationally there it is named as maybelline lip blurs and in India they have named it as maybelline lip gradation .now these beauties are luckily named which I find the best .they are named as red 1 ,red2 etc now I don’t know why they have given such a stupid name .i think they could have named something better .
Shade Pink 2
So coming on to the shade of the lipstick the maybelline lip gradation in shade pink -2 is a bright vibrant hot pink shade .this shade will cater to all Indian skin tones .be it a light ,medium or dark ..so in short it’s a universal flattering shade .
These lipstick is completely matte in texture which I love .one more best part about these lipstick is that you can use it as a lipliner and also a lipstick so in short it’s two in one product .the lipstick is non drying so it applies eventually on the lips .the lipstick doesn’t bleeds .so it’s safe to use it as a lipliner .
Now coming on to the smudger part I really don’t like the smudger provided as I Am not fond of creating ombré lips .and another reason why I don’t like to use the smudger is that it’s unhygienic when you create a ombré lips using these smudger every time you use it tends to get dirty and it’s not possible to clean as the smudger is attached with the lipstick
Now coming on to the texture of the lipstick I really like the texture of the lipstick though it’s a matte lipstick it glides on smoothly without pulling or tugging the lips
The lipstick stayed on my lips for good 6 to7 hours surviving drink and meals .it transfers a bit when you apply but afterwards it leaves a stain behind which I like I have also noticed that lipstick starts getting patchy from the inner bottom of the lips after 4 hours of wear time
Pros of Maybelline Lip Gradation Pink 2
1. Good staying power
4. completely matte
5. lives upto it’s claim
6. Attractive packaging
Cons of Maybelline Lip Gradation Pink 2
1. less quantity provided for the price
2. lips feels drying after 4 hours of wear time .
Would I consider repurchasing?
Yes will definitely but in another shades. Totally recommend it to you guys .
As a member of MBF I would like to advice you few things
1. Exfoliate and moisturise your lips before applying these lipstick. Nivea lip balm is a best option to use underneath these lipstick
2. And as it leaves a stain behind which you may find it a bit hard to remove I would like to advice you to use a baby oil or either coconut oil to remove the lipstick .
