How to Use

Wet face, pump into hands and work into lather. Massage face gently, avoiding contact with the delicate eye area. Rinse thoroughly. If you experience dryness or irritation, use less frequently.

In Detail Neutrogena Deep Clean Facial Cleanser Review

Neutrogena is a quite popular drug store brand here in India. I got this product because it has been around for a long time but I had never really tried it out. So this time I decided I will pick this up. It comes in a nice little transparent bottle as you guys can see in the picture. The bigger size comes in a pump dispenser bottle. The smaller one is a travel friendly option whereas if you want to buy it for daily use, you can go for the bigger size.

It has this smell of regular neutrogena cleansing products. It is clean and fresh, nothing very extraordinary though. The product has a consistency of a normal cleanser. Neither too thick, not too runny. With water it lathers up to give a rich foam. Because I have combination skin, I had high hopes from this cleanser. However, after using it for one complete month, it failed to impress me out of the box. I mean, it does clean my face well and removes all dirt etc, it did not do anything more than what an otherwise average drugstore cleanser wouldn’t do.

Now, because the product contains salicylic acid, it might help in controlling mild break outs on your skin. But we do have a bunch of facial cleansers in the market with salicylic acid. Another important point is, this does make my skin feel a little bit dry so I always need a moisturiser. If you are someone whose skin tends to be a bit more dry, you would definitely need a good moisturiser.
