In Detail Neutrogena Light Night Cream Review
I have combination skin in general and I purchased this night cream because it said “LIGHT” night cream on the box and non comedogenic. I am a person who breaks out very easily. I was out one day when I spotted this on the shelf of a super market and I though well, why not try it. Neutrogena does seem like a nice brand overall.
The consistency of the product is indeed quite like a thin cream. It smells like your regular neutrogena products. So one night I clean my face properly before bed and applied this cream all over my face hoping it would work miracles. As soon as I applied it, I was expecting it would get absorbed quickly and make me feel non-oily etc. To my disappointment, it did not really get absorbed as quickly as I was thinking. So I went to bed and next morning when I woke up, I looked into the mirror and I looked like someone had poured oil on my face. It made my face very oily. It is not even like I had applied too much because I only applied a little bit of it.
I blamed it on my skin that it might be still adjusting to this, and tried it on again. Again same thing happened and it made my combination skin very oily. It however did not break me out. Overall I used this product only for about 8 to 10 times because I gave up hopes of making this product work after that.
If you do have super dry skin, you may try it out. I do not know if this night cream is available in smaller packaging, but if it is then buy the smallest size first and see if it works for you or else you will end up wasting your 360 Rs like I did. I now have been using this cream as my hand and foot cream at night and trying to finish it off as soon as possible. I am not even sure if I will buy a neutrogena product anymore. I feel this product is more suitable for colder countries and not for us.
Pros of Neutrogena Light Night Cream
1. Did not break my skin out
2. Might be good for girls with very dry skin
3. Works nice as a hand and foot cream for me
Cons of Neutrogena Light Night Cream
1. Does not work
2. Made my face extremely oily
3. I find it costly for the amount
Will I buy Neutrogena Light Night Cream again?
Not in my dreams.

I might try it out since my skin gets super dry during winters.
thanks for the review. will skip it. the moisturizer which claims to control oil itself don’t do much but neutrogena is a good brand though
I completely agree with you…I had the same experience with this night cream
I think I should give it a try during winters, as my skin turns extremely dry during winters
I had similar issue with this cream.. Its too oily for my skin even for winters!
