Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunblock SPF 50+ Review

Hello there ladies!!
I was never a sun screen girl. I have a very tan-prone skin. 10 minutes out in the sun and my skin is burned and tanned. I never used to apply sun screen when I was in school. I used to get tanned and then look for anti-tanning creams and stuff. Sun screens used to repel me as that felt greasy on my already oily-combination skin. So I would never wear one, well who wants to appear all sweaty and gross!

Anyways so I realized the importance of it when I spoke to a dermatologist in my family. That day, and now, I have always used a sunscreen. There have been hits and misses , lets see how did this one work;

Description:

Neutrogena® Ultra-Sheer® Dry-Touch Sunblock SPF 50+ PA+++ is a breakthrough in sun protection. Stabilized with Helioplex™, it provides superior balanced broad-spectrum protection against skin-aging UVA and burning UVB rays, and combines it with Dry Touch Technology for an ultra-light, non-shiny finish. This lightweight sunblock has a light fresh scent and is gentle enough even for sensitive skin.

Price: sold at 499 MRP (INR) for 88 ml tube.
My opinion:
This comes in this opaque white tube with a nozzle like opening and cool blue top with screw mechanism.
The formula is basically fragrance free. It claims to give a matt and dry feeling without clogging the pores, non comedogenic.
The consistency of the sunscreen is like a thin cream, I mean the formula is on the runnier side. It spreads easily on the skin and does not feel sticky or greasy. I apply this 10-15 minutes before stepping out in the sun. It gives me this dewy look that I do not like at all. I mean its hot outside and you don’t want a dewy-oily look on top of that. I notice that I start sweating easily  when I have this on and it makes my combination skin still more oily otherwise.

Though I would totally support their claims of providing sun protection. I had wonderful results as far as sun protection is concerned. I had zero tanning when I used this product. Even in a place like Goa, when I had this on for the entire day, I did not notice any significant tanning on my skin, though I needed to apply frequently as obviously it makes me oily and sweaty.
Overall I would say, this is a great sunscreen but I feel it would be more suitable for people with slightly drier skin. It indeed provides amazing protection against the sun, and despite a few shortcomings, this is one of the best sunscreens I have ever used. It can be used by fair skin as well as dusky skin tones because it leaves no white cast and absorbs fairly easily.
