New Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick P 163 Review, Swatch, LOTD
Like you guys can see, they have completely changed the packaging. From the boring maroon package, they have come to the new silver transparent packaging. It has Lakme Enrich Satin written on the side. A label with the shade number is seen on the bottom. It has got a click to close mechanism which I think is awesome since I feel it makes the lipstick safer to travel with.
Formula and Texture
The formula of the lipstick is a moisturising one which gives a glossy finish on the lips. The texture is soft and creamy. Glides on very easily on the lips. Because of the super creamy formula, the lipstick also transfers a lot.
Shade Lakme Enrich Satin P 163
This is a berry pink shade with blue undertones. The shade is quite warm, so will suit a lot of skin tones. I want to call it a warm berry barbie pink shade. Although the lipstick is very pigmented and gives an almost full coverage opaqueness in a single swipe, I just like to double swipe the lipstick to make sure I have it on evenly. The good thing about this is, even on repeated swiping, it does not go patchy.
With light meals, this stays on me for a good 3 to 3.5 hours. This does transfer significantly though if you are not careful about it. It leaves a very strong stain behind upon removal. The stain is pretty difficult to remove even with highest quality makeup removers.
I feel this is a decent lipstick with a highly moisturising formula and a soft, silky texture. The great thing about it is the packaging which is absolutely gorgeous now. Though I wish it was a little bit longer lasting and the formula transferred less. Anyways at this price, Lakme is giving a pretty decent lipstick. The new lakme enrich satin range has mostly varying hues of pinks from berry to purple tone shades. I chose this one as it seemed more wearable to me. I would also like to suggest you guys to keep this lipstick in a cool place because it melts inside the shell which causes it to break. Mine in fact has broken and I have to fix it now. No worries because I do have some tricks to repair my broken lipsticks. If you want to know how I do it, read this – How to Fix a broken Lipstick
