Hello sweeties! Today we are going to do a Shahnaz Husain Shamla Plus Hair Cleanser Review. Shahnaz Husain is obviously not a new entrant in the market. My mom was using her products a long time before I even knew about the flame-haired diva. I bought the Shahnaz Husain Shamla Plus Hair Cleanser on an impulse since I was fed up of my summer-ravaged dry and wispy hair. And here is what happened..

In Detail Shahnaz Husain Shamla Plus Hair Cleanser Review and My Experience
For starters, I faced a constantly itchy scalp in summers. I used Shamla Plus Hair Cleanser for about three weeks – every third day. By this time the dandruff became almost zero! In fact if I was having an outdoorsy day and my hair was subject to dust, pollution and grime, I would even come back and wash them in the night – have an OCD about not sleeping on a clean pillow with dirty hair 🙂
It is a squirt bottle with a dual cap lid – so spillage is not there. But having said that, the consistency was a little runny. The cleanser in itself is transparent – so there are no artificial colouring agents. It does not lather too much but it did clean my hair really well. The other plus point was my hair did not feel too squeaky – a clear indication of the fact that it did not dry my hair.
I usually run a wide-toothed comb through wet hair (because I have really curly hair) and I felt there was hardly any tangling.
How I Use it
Since I found it to be a tad runny, I poured the necessary amount into a mug with a little water and applied that to wet hair and scalp after partitioning my hair gently with my fingers. I have been using this cleanser thrice a week.
Effects
After using the Shahnaz Husain Shamla Plus Hair Cleanser for about a fortnight now, my hair fall has certainly reduced by about half of what it used to be! My hair is softer – not dull and wispy as it was earlier. The itchiness of the scalp has gone too and I feel hair is definitely moisturised – without the use of a conditioner. After drying my hair naturally, it was not flat and also enhanced my natural waves and curls.

Pros of Shahnaz Husain Shamla Plus Hair Cleanser
• Herbal
• A little goes a long way
• Adds body to hair
Cons of Shahnaz Husain Shamla Plus Hair Cleanser
• Best used combined with Sharinse.
• Has that peculiar Shahnaz Husain products’ fragrance – obviously added as a chemical.
MBF Advises
Shahnaz Husain Shamla Plus Hair Cleanser is rather mild. Perhaps if it is paired with other products from the same range, the effect will be more substantial. Its combination with Sharinse has been suggested for luxuriant hair growth and to guard the scalp against infection and to control greying.
MBF Rating
4/5
Looks like an amazing product but SLS in the ingredient list is an issue for me.Nice detailed review.
