Packaging

I can go on and on about its packaging. It comes in a 300 ml plastic tub which is light pink in colour. Quantity is sufficient for the price and will last good 3 to 4 months. Product details are mentioned on the tub along with branding and name. As the tub is quiet big I wont say it is travel friendly.

My Experience

When i first opened the jar i was amazed to see the quantity. Also, it smells divine that you’d never want to use it. Texture wise it is chunky, it has salt granules, pink exfoliating beads and essential oils. When you keep this closed for few days without using you may see oil accumulating on the top of other ingredients. In this case I mix it with a spatula or fingers and you are good to go again.

Upon application on dampen skin salt granules melt away easily. So I also tried using it on my dry skin and it worked well because it has oils to dampen your skin and salt granules works wonder. But this scrubbing action lasts only for few seconds then they melt away because of the body heat. It leaves your body smelling divine feeling moist and smooth.

However, I would not say it removes all dead cells from the skin. Because of the sugar and salt granules melting away, there is hardly any exfoliating particles left after a while. But it definitely does hydrates your body due to rich oils present in it. I use my Victorias Secret Acai Body Wash to rinse it off as rinsing only with water will leave oily residue on the skin.

Overall Verdict

I personally love this product but I believe it does too little to scrub my body. I would use this whenever I wish to pamper my skin but for actual scrubbing I prefer a scrub which wont melt away so quickly. I bought it mainly because of the packaging, otherwise I would have gone for walnut, almond or similar ingredient for scrubbing purpose.

As I mentioned above it works fine when applied on dry skin, but i like to use my body scrub in shower hence it melts. So I would keep it for days when i just wish to pamper my skin.
