Urban Decay Electric Pressed Pigment Eyeshadow Palette Review, Swatches: Hello beauties! I’m back with a review for one of the most colourful palettes out there: Electric by Urban Decay. I couldn’t resist buying this one, with all those different shades I could only imagine and after trying the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette, I was really excited to see what the Electric one can look like! As I love doing all kinds of extravagant make up looks I look forward to show you what I could create with it.

In Detail Urban Decay Electric Pressed Pigment Eyeshadow Palette Review, Swatches and My Experience

Wow. This was my reaction every time I was passing by in Sephora. Such a wonderful palette. So I got it and I completely understood why it was so popular.

The package is really beautiful. Very abstract, the marriage of flashy colors on the black background is hypnotizing. Once you open it up, the inner part of the box is a rose pattern, very cute. The palette itself looks just like the package. It’s cold, plastic, sleek. If you open it up, the mirror stays just where you left it – YAY! This wasn’t the case of the Naked 2 palette, which was really sad. This one has it all – the HUGE mirror, stylish double-ended brush in the Urban tones (which I suppose are violet, as their Urban eyeshadow is pure violet), comfortable round shaped eyeshadows with some crazy colors. Let’s try them.

Pigmentation and Shades

The pigmentation is insane. I only put up a little bit of rose and my eyelid was all rose in a second. You really don’t need to apply a lot of product, it really does have the color you need with a small amount of eyeshadow and it’s so easy to blend. I just love it. Maybe the Revolt one has a little less pigment than the others, it’s more like a glitter than grey.

All of the colors are very shiny, opens up your eye if well applied and I guess they’re so well chosen, the rose/red one don’t look like your husband just secretly hit you, the blue ones don’t look like he did one week ago, I mean it’s just pure art for me. It’s really difficult to mix up the right red/blue colors without looking pretty tired or hurt. It has no particular smell and the brush is easy to clean. My favorite one is definitely Urban. This color is everything, it matches perfectly my eyes, skin tone, and my favorite color is violet, but UD just pushed this color even further, now my favorite color is THIS violet. The shade I use the less is Freak for the moment. I just have no green clothes I guess.

Eye Makeup Look

So, I decided to do some rose/violet/peacock look. First surrounded my eye of the savage shadow, I went pretty far. Next I added some Jilted a little bit lower, still above my crease, then I used Urban to define my crease (I blended it all out like a freak of course) and finally I filled my mobile eyelid with Fringe and a small touch of Revolt in my eye corners. Enjoy 🙂 Check out the complete breakdown of the Makeup and Tutorial HERE.

They last pretty long and well,I did all night long + the next day with, they’re easy to remove.
