In Detail Wet n Wild MegaSlicks Lip Gloss Berried Treasure Review, Swatches and My Experience
Packaging
The Wet n Wild MegaSlicks Lip Gloss comes in a light weight and efficiently wrapped cylindrical plastic tube with a black glossy screw cap. The lower portion of the bottle is pretty transparent and you can easily see through the shade, in case you own more than one in your collection. The screw cap has the wand attached to it for application and it has a doe footed applicator. It picks up the right amount of product and excellent no matter what is the shape for your lips. Overall, I found the packaging pretty decent and nice for travelling as well.
Shade
The shade ‘Berried Treasure’ is a fuchsia berry gloss shade. It has minute silvery particles in it which are pretty evident when you swatch it on the hand but once applied on the lips, it looks high end glossy and nice on the lips and the silver particles, instead of looking to loud, transform into a nice sheen and reflects good amount of light. Even when you remove, the silvery particles doesn’t create much problem at all.
Pigmentation
The pigmentation of the gloss is semi-medium. It is not good enough to cover any pigmentation or discolouration on the lips if you have any but on clear lips, it gives a good amount of colour which looks pretty good. You can call in a tint but not a full coverage lip colour as well. It goes well with any fuchsia or berry lip colour and gives the right amount of shine.
Texture
Initially when I applied the lip colour, I thought it is a bit sticky but once it sits on the lips, it feels nourished and glossy on its own. Having said that, the colour doesn’t bleeds which I find very disgusting in various glosses. Given the fact that I have the habit of rubbing the lips together, the texture feels smooth and comforting even when you have been wearing it for the long time. The lip gloss is also very nourishing as I have extremely dry lips and I find this gloss never dries up the lips and also lips stay hydrated even after it fades off from the lips.
Longevity
The lip gloss stays on my lips for around 3 hours and it depends a lot on the food/fluid intake. It transfers a lot, being glossy and can’t survive snacks or heavy meals. However, even when the gloss fades away, it leaves behind a nice tint of pink on the lips which looks so natural and nice for the daytime. The gloss works best as a daily wear and for the price this is surely worth the money.

MBF Advices
➢ Use this lip gloss on top of a true pink colour to give a slight berry tint which is perfect for festivals.
➢ Also, apply the lip gloss in the centre portion of the lips to have a plump lip effect as well.
➢ We can pair it up underneath a soft lip liner and the gloss on top.
Repurchase?
The colour is good and quite feminine but I am much comfortable with lip colours than glosses. However, if you like glosses, you would surely love the product.
