All Lakme 9 to 5 Weightless Matte Mousse Lip & Cheek Color Shades Review, Swatches

These come in a pretty rose gold cardboard packaging as goes with the theme of Lakme’s 9 to 5 range of products. Love the fact that they have named the individual shade instead of numbering them because we names are practically easier to remember. However, the disappointing part is the packaging of the actual lipstick. It has an opaque packaging which means there is no way of knowing which shade you are picking up unless you look at the shade name which is mentioned at the bottom of the tube. Other than this, the packaging is pretty and travel friendly.

These have a lovely velvety soft and mousse like texture as the name suggests. The lipsticks feel absolutely light weight and the formula applies beautifully on the lips. The pigmentation is amazing which is a huge thumbs up for every lipstick lover. These do smell like vanilla butterscotch ice cream to me 😀

Of course, they give a lovely matte finish on the lips without feeling dry or cracky!

Burgundy Lush

A deepened out brick red shade. Totally a must have this fall season! Burgundy Lush is reviewed in detail HERE 🙂

Coffee Lite

A soft n*de shade with undertones of purple and slight brown hints. A total must have if you have been eye balling some everyday wear neutral shades.

Plum Feather

This is a soft plum shade. Not too bold but just a lovely plum-pink shade. I find this is a very wearable shade if you are on a look for a pink lipstick with some warm undertones.

Tangerine Fluff

Here’s our bright orange shade of the range. Of course, needless to say as you will see in the swatches below. Its a beautiful bright orange with neutral undertones.

Blush Velvet

Astha MBF’s personal favourite shade. This one is a gorgeous soft neutral shade with slightest hints of pink and purple. Needless to say, this will suit a variety of skin tones.

Pink Plush

A bright neon barbie pink shade which is going to be loved by everyone. Love how this shade brings out a pop of barbie pink and yet looks wearable.

Rose Touch

Again a beautiful everyday wear shade. This one has slightly more purple undertones than Blush Velvet. It has a tinge of red undertones. This is going to suit everyone irrespective of skin tone.

Coca Soft

Coca Soft is the brown of this Lakme 9 to 5 weightless mousse lipsticks range. A lovely brown with warm undertones, this is going to be a favourite of a lot of ladies!

Fuchsia Sude

Again a lovely pink shade. This one has more blue undertones to it. Its still bright but not as bright as Pink Plush. A very wearable bright pink shade this is.

Crimson Silk

Like the name suggests, this is a gorgeous flat out red shade. The must have red shade of every lipstick range is a neutral Red shade and Crimson silk is just the one in this range.

So overall we feel its an absolutely amazing range of lipsticks by lakme. Although Lakme says that these can be used as cheek tints, we suggest using the tiniest amount if you are planning to use these on your cheeks since they are pretty pigmented.
