Loreal actually has come out with some really nice as well as wearable shades in this collection. The super fine tip of these eyeliners are in fact a unique feature. There are a total of 6 shades launched in the United States. For some reason, one shade i.e. “white” was not launched here. Anyways, we will go through the 5 shades that we have here and talk about each one in detail below. We hope the white one comes soon everywhere where its not launched yet.

How to Use L’Oreal Infallible Paints Eyeliners

1. Apply along upper lash line, as close to lashes as possible, starting from inner corner of eye working outwards.
2. Repeat underneath the lower lash line.
3. Use multiple shades of Infallible Eyeliner Paints for an even more vibrant eye look.

All L’Oreal Infallible Paints Eyeliners 6 Shades Review, Swatches

We have all used colour sketch pens as kids. Now imagine a product with 0.1 mm felt tip offering nice pigmentation. Well this is all about these eyeliners in a sentence. The tip is actually soft, yet very fine as well as precise. These eyeliners come in a pen form. The pens are actually colour coded to help us choose the shade. Also, the black cap closes with a click.

Basically these are blues and greens with a couple of standard black and white shades. I think I would have wanted some browns, plums may be. But anyways, as far as the shades in this collection are concerned, I am not over the moon, but its okay.

Formula, Pigmentation

The eyeliners have a super easy applying formula. It feels quite light and thin in consistency. Therefore, it won’t dry and crumble near the tip of the pen. Pigmentation wise, these are a little above average. I wouldn’t call them super pigmented, but these do offer satisfactory pigmentation in a single swipe. However, the colours are easily buildable. You can layer them up for a more intense as well as vibrant look.

All L’Oreal Infallible Paints Eyeliner – Individual Shades Description

Black Party 300 – A standard black shade. It looks jet black, however you need to layer it at least twice to get that bang on black pigmentation.
Electric Blue 302 – A pure cobalt blue shade. This one performs excellent. Its super vibrant and honestly, if you are into blue liners you will love this.
Vivid Aqua 304 – This is a cool toned sky blue colour liner. Again decent performance. Remember Aishwarya Rai’s orange lipstick look on Day 4 of Cannes 2017? She was wearing this Loreal Infallible Vivid Aqua blue eyeliner in that look.

Intrepid Teal 306 – This is a medium toned down steel blue shade.
Wild Green 308 – This is a gorgeous deep forest green shade. Very unique shade in fact, I cannot remember any brand having this kind of a green in their collection yet. I am totally digging this shade ya’all.
White Party 310 – A standard white shade. Not yet launched here, hopefully they launch it soon.

Finish, Wearability, Staying Power

Loreal infallible paints eye liners have a super matte finish on the skin. They dry really quickly and hence its more comfortable while you’re doing your eye makeup on the go. You don’t have to wait for it to dry and then open your eyes because these do dry pretty much instantaneously. These did not irritate my eyes at all. However, I won’t advise using the liner on or near your waterline because the company doesn’t say anything about it being safe on the waterline.

The liners wear very well for a couple of hours. However, after that I notice some flaking specially near the edges. Also, if you have oily lids or if you haven’t set your eyes with a base or primer, these do start smudging a little as well. So I suggest always use a primer and set your eye makeup base properly before using these eyeliners. With these minor problems, the eyeliner stays on upto 5 hours. Afterwards, the edges pretty much do not look decent enough without a touch up. Hence, for 5+ hours, you definitely need a touch up.

Overall Verdict

Overall I feel these eyeliners are pretty okay performance wise. However, I strongly feel that they are priced slightly high for the quality and quantity. I would surely recommend these if you’re digging these gorgeous shades. Like the electric blue shade is a close match to the Makeup Forever blue liner. However, if you already have something decent with the same shade in your collection, I would suggest going to a store and trying before buying. The green shade called “Wild Green” is actually pretty unique so totally get that if you’re looking for a deep green liner.

1. Apply a primer, set your eye makeup base then use these eyeliners for a good fade free as well as smudge free experience.
2. Always keep the cap of these eyeliners tightly shut after use because otherwise they will dry out quickly.
3. If you feel like you’re running out of the product, keep the liner in a stand in upside down position so that the tip faces downwards.
4. Layering these up brings out a really intense and vibrant feel to the colours.
