Included among the starts are 7 hotties of our Bollywood Aishwarya Rai, Sonam Kapoor and Frieda Pinto. So here I am writing about the lipstick in detail. Packaging

Talking of the packaging first, I don’t have much to say because it is clear how gorgeous it is. I mean who would not like this lovely lustrous black packaging for a lipstick. Inside it has the classic golden metal shell which adds so much class. On the outside, we have the signature of the respective starts who the lipstick represent. In my case, we have Sonam Kapoor’s signature. The shade details are mentioned on one end and there is the logo on the other end. Of course there is the color coded button like their moist matte collection which makes color identification so much easier.

Formula and Texture

Pure reds is a matte lipsticks collection. The formula of the lipstick is very matte. The texture is super smooth but one has to be very very careful while applying it because it is easy to go wrong with such intense matte lipstick shades. It glides on easily on the lips. Quite a lovely feature for a matte lipstick. It does not dry out my lips inspite of being an intense matte shade. In fact I find it better than most MAC matte lipsticks when it comes to the texture. It covers all imperfections and does not make the fine lines prominent.

MBF views and Recommendation

This is one of the best matte lipsticks I have ever used and I would definitely love to try out more shades from the range. I am very impressed with the quality of the lipstick which in fact beats its super high end counterparts. The price is totally justified with a bomb lipstick like that. I would sure recommend you guys to try this out. When you apply it, please use a liner and line your lips first because it would help you be precise. Because with such super amazing pigmentation in a matte lipstick, it is easy to go wrong and we don’t want that.
