With a silver packaging these are indeed quite catchy. Though they were released in the US pretty long back, these have been recently brought to India. I just wanted to swatch these for you guys so that you can choose which shades you want to buy while shopping online may be 🙂

How to Use

Pump the mousse onto the Applicator Mitt and apply in light sweeping motions, starting from your legs and working your way up. Once the whole body is covered, wait until touch dry before getting dressed. Wait 1, 2 or 3 hours depending on your desired shade, then rinse off the tinted guide colour with warm water. After showering, skin will have a light colour but the self tan actives will continue to work for up to 8 hours, developing and deepening into your chosen shade of tan that lasts for days.

Precautions: Don’t apply to broken, irritated, or sensitive skin. Stop if irritation occurs. Self-tan may stain. Avoid contact with eyes and lips; rinse if contact occurs. Sun safety warning: This product does not contain a sunscreen and does not protect against sunburn. Repeated exposure of unprotected skin while tanning may increase the risk of skin aging, skin cancer, and other harmful effects to the skin even if you do not burn.

So Revlon launched 20 shades in this range total according to their website, however they got only 13 shades launched in India. Why this Kolaveri di Revlon?

These come in a beautiful metallic silver packaging with a transparent cap. Love the simple yet sophisticated packaging by Revlon. Shade numbers can be found on the bottom stickers. They are especially amazing to be kept on top of the vanity since it is so easy to select a shade because of the transparent cap.

The Revlon HD Lipsticks are basically a moist lipsticks range. For a change at least someone decided to come up with something different than matte formulations. It has a highly moisturising formula with decent pigmentation. Applies evenly on the lips and does not cake up. Gives a nice sheen on the lips upon application. Makes the lips look very healthy and plump. It kind of heals dry lips as well. So ladies looking for moisturising lipstick formulas, try this one.

It also smells pretty good. It has a very light feel on the lips mostly because of its gel formulation. Probably the reason it looks so fresh on the lips. Staying power is okay I would say. This stayed on my lips for 3 to 4 hours after which it fades evenly. It does transfer a bit because of its highly moisturising formula.

MBF Advices

I would definitely recommend these lovely angelic beauties to all my girls who like to use moisturising lipsticks with decent pigmentation and staying power. Though I feel the price is a tad bit on the higher side, I feel Revlon has indeed done a great job with the gel formula which makes it feel super light on the lips.
