Anastasia Beverly Hills Self Made EyeShadow Palette Review, Swatches: Hey there gorgeous! Hope you’re having an amazing day! Today I want to talk to you about a much anticipated palette of mine. Now I got on the Anastasia Beverly Hills Eyeshadow palettes about a year and a half ago and I must say, hands down, it’s the best formula I’ve tried. Their pigmentation is unmatched and they are so buttery and smooth. So when they announced this palette, I fell in love and knew I had to have it. That meant saving up because I was so broke and there was a lot of back and forth of whether I should get it or not. Finally I’m like let’s put an end to it and placed my order! Read on to know how it turned out for me!

In Detail Anastasia Beverly Hills Self Made EyeShadow Palette Review, Swatches and My Experience
I saw the shades online prior so I knew the color selection would be good. Plus it had a repeat of Pink Champagne from the ABH world traveler palette which I loved already. And I knew the formula was going to be bomb as well, so I had high expectations from this palette.
However I felt that some of the shadows weren’t as amazing as they were in the previous world traveler one. So I wasn’t too thrilled. It’s a palette I don’t reach for often, but that being said it still is good for the most part. Some of the colors are amazing and I love using them!
ABH Self Made Palette Individual Shades Description
Metallic glittery rose gold.
One of my favourites that was also in the shadow couture palette! I believe it’s also available as a single pan so I would suggest grabbing it asap! Perfect for a pop of glittery goodness in the inner corner or as an all over the lid shade.
This is a warm tone good for a medium tone on the lid or blended out in the crease!
Shimmering gold with brown undertones.
No palette is complete without a gold! It’s a pretty pop of color for the lid! Just adds brightness instantly!
Mystical satin taupe.
A mid tone shade good for blending out in the crease or adding a slight bit of depth in the outer corner for a day time look!
Soft barely there off white -peach.
A really nice transition color! Good for under the brow bone as well.
Muted petal pink with an ultra-matte finish.
Pretty pink that can be used to blend any crease shade as well as an all over the lid color for a super matte look!
Sheer buildable matte beige.
That staple off white in every palette. Perfect for setting your primer as well as a matte under the brow bone highlight!
Enigmatic satin amethyst.
The brightest pop of color in this palette. Love it for all over the lid or in the outer v! Packs on well
Silky peachy champagne with a satin finish.
Another really pretty brow bone highlight and all over the lid shade!
Hot & Cold
Shimmery Cozy cashmere bronze.
Pretty deeper lid color for a nice daytime soft glam look!
Ultra matte light apricot.
A nice transition shade as well as good for all over the lid. Can help with blending too!
Mesmerizing sea foam green.
Another pop of color, rather subtle this time. It’s a pretty shimmery green that adds class to any look! Doesn’t transfer on to the eye that well, or blend/layer well with others…
Sultry galaxy black sparkle.
That perfect smoky pigmented black! The glitter specks add more to the depth and dimensionality to any look!
Rich cocoa brown with a matte finish.
A perfect transition shade!

Pros of Anastasia Beverly Hills Self Made EyeShadow Palette

2. Variety of various formulas
4. Smooth and buttery
5. Decently priced for a higher end product
6. Useful brush
7. Cute sturdy packaging
Cons of Anastasia Beverly Hills Self Made EyeShadow Palette
1. Some colors don’t layer well
2. Be careful of fall out
3. Some shades don’t translate exactly as seen onto the lid
4. Limited edition
• Always use an eyeshadow primer underneath.
• Pack on the shimmery colors
• Don’t try to layer too much or the color might wipe away
• Be careful not to pick up too much pigment in our brush – slow and steady building up is best
Anastasia Beverly Hills eyeshadow palettes always keep me coming back for more. I will admit I only bought this because it was an Anastasia palette. If it were any other brand, I might’ve passed. I would still recommend it though if you’ve never tried their formula but if you have, it’s not a must have in your collection.
Hope this review was helpful! Feel free to ask any further questions. Have you tried this product? Let me know your thoughts!
Have a great day beautiful 🙂
