Too Faced Chocolate Bar Eyeshadow Palette Review, Swatches: Hello again Too Faced aficionados! The wait is over. It’s here! Here’s my thoughts, feelings and take-aways on what is easily the most well-known (and popular) Too Faced product. The Chocolate Bar Eyeshadow Collection (Often just called the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette). This is not only part of their permanent range, but has spawned the Chocolate Collection, of contours kits, bronzers, and melted liquid lipsticks, as well as other scented palettes like the Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette (which is getting its own collection), and the Too Faced Peanut Butter & Jelly Palette (which is now part of the permanent range, after coming out as Limited Edition).
Too Faced Brow Envy Brow Shaping & Defining Kit Review, Swatches: The most in thing at the moment is perfectly sculpted brows and achieving this at home, instead of salon tinting and waxing. There is a veritable glut of brow products on the market, all promising they will place perfectly sculpted and filled brows at your fingertips. When I saw Too Faced was offering an all-in-one brow palette, I was keen to see what theirs was like, so it’s time to jump in and give you my thoughts, take-aways and recommendations for the Too Faced Brow Envy Brow Shaping & Defining Kit!
Too Faced Natural Matte Eyeshadow Palette Review, Swatches: I’m a matte-queen, and love my nudes, so when I heard that Too Faced Cosmetics was making a matte version of their ‘Natural Eyes’ Palette, I rushed out and bought it to add to my eyeshadow palette collection, since I felt like the Natural Eyes palette had shimmers very close to ones I already have from their other palettes. So without further ado, here is the Too Faced Natural Matte Eyeshadow Collection, and my thoughts, take-aways and recommendations.
Kylie Dolce K Matte Lip Kit Review, Swatches: Hello again from Megan, and Australia. I hope you’re all having a magical day! Kylie Jenner has made a name for herself, outside of belonging in the Kardashian clan; she has launched a shoe and handbag line (with her sister Kendal), but what she is most famous for on her own is her makeup line – Kylie Cosmetics, of Kyshadows (eyeshadow palette), Kyliners (eyeliner) and her glosses, lip liners and liquid lipsticks (metallic and matte). Her matte ‘lipsticks kits’, which contain a matching lip liner and liquid lipstick, are the hottest thing on everyone’s lips, and her lipkits often sell out the same day they are restocked.
Too Faced Peanut Butter & Jelly Eyeshadow Palette Review, Swatches: This another palette that has been on the Limited Edition list, that’s been re-released, and the owners have said it will be added to their permanent range. So many people (including myself) are happy at this news, as it sold out very quickly, and the only way to buy it since, has been on eBay at a considerable mark-up (I ended up paying AU$110 for mine, including postage, and it came with a proof of purchase).
So, without further ado, it’s Peanut Butter Jelly time!
Too Faced Let It Glow Highlight and Blush Kit Review, Swatches: It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, and you know what that means. 🙂 Christmas releases!! This year Too Faced has once again delivered a bevy of goodies, with the theme of Christmas in New York. I managed to get my hands on their Let It Glow gift set, and I can’t wait to share it, and my journey of discovery with you all!
Too Faced Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette Review, Swatches: As a Too Faced fanatic, I’m not going to lie; been excited to get my hands on this one, since it’s so hard to get. Too Faced has a range of scented products; their Cocoa range was so well received they released the Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Collection, in 2015, as a Limited Edition product, and rapidly sold out.
It hit Australia in March of 2015 and I was able to (finally) get my eager little hands on it January of this year. Unfortunately eBay has been flooded with fakes, with potentially harmful ingredients, so that’s something to be aware of if trying to buy one. I got mine with proof of purchase from Mecca Maxima.
The good news is that it IS being re-released December 2016, for those who missed out first time, or have hit pan and want to get another. It will be part of a new peach range, including a blush and highlight palette!
