Bajaj Brahmi Amla Hair Oil Review

Amla has been used for hair care since forever. I was beginning to have some hair crisis with hair fall and frizziness since I have moved to a new place so I decided to change some of my hair products.

Bajaj Brahmi Amla Hair Oil Review

My aunt actually suggested me this hair oil long ago, I was scrolling through the market one day when I picked this up. I have always related the Bajaj Amla Hair Oil to my grandmom who always used to apply loads of it in her hair. Now that I think about it, oh my! she did have lovely hair in a very old age. So yeah, I gave this hair oil a try and let us read further to know if it actually worked 🙂

In Detail Bajaj Brahmi Amla Hair Oil Review and My Experience

The hair oil comes in a transparent bottle which kind of tapers towards the bottom. The hair oil inside looks dark green in colour. The labels on the product mention all details that you’d want to know including the ingredients, price etc. It has a flip open top which actually closes pretty well but still, a caution, oils are notorious for leaking so take care if you wish to take this for travelling.

The Bajaj Amla hair oil has a very herbal oil kind of a smell to it which I do not mind. Yes it does stay and lingers around a bit till I have the hair oil in my hair. The consistency of this oil is moderate to slightly on the thicker side. However it is not very sticky as compared to our regular coconut or olive oil.

How I Use it

I like to take the oil little by little on my palms, spread it and apply on my scalp first. I do not massage it firmly. I just make gentle motions on my scalp while applying the oil then proceed towards the lengths till the ends. One thing we need to be very careful about is, whenever we apply hair oil, start from the roots and work your way down towards the roots. The amount of oil depends on the length of one’s hair. I have 3 inches below by navel so I probably use around 10 to 15 ml oil per usage. It completely depends on how much do you want to saturate your hair with the oil. I like to make sure I reach every strand of my hair so that it absorbs all the goodness. Did I mention the oil does seem to absorb quite well in my hair.

So I usually apply it at night before I goto sleep. I like to leave it on overnight and then next day morning I shampoo and condition as usual. Also sometimes I apply it an hour before washing my hair. The oil comes out of the hair very easily with my regular shampoo and there are no traces of it left even if I shampoo only once.

Effects

It is that time of the year when oiling the hair has been causing hairfall. With this hair oil I find that the hairfall is not as much as it was with other hair oils. It really nourishes my hair and makes it look shiny. My hair after the overnight treatment with this oil appear healthy and smooth. The very little frizz that I have is very much reduced.

So overall I really like this hairoil. It works decently and serves all the purpose of a nice hair oil. Am I overly impressed by it? No. But still this has made my hair look nice and smooth. Conditioned my hair well and kept it from looking dry and dull. So if you are looking for a change of hair oil, go try a smaller bottle of it before you buy the big size.
