Hand foam as a cream is new to me, so I was curious to find out how it worked. The packaging was the first thing that grasped my attention and I was trying to figure out what that was as the whole thing is in german. I could only understand ‘hand’ and ‘raspberry party’. I asked the sales person if it was a hand wash or a hand cream, and she affirmed that it was a hand cream. Therefore I thought I would give it a try and bought it.

They have two scents in this line, cake pop and Raspberry party. As both the scents are that of frosting cream on desserts, it’s as if you are using a frosting cream as hand cream, which can sound really pleasant for dessert lovers like me.

It comes in a tin bottle with a cap, the dispenser is a spray pump. The bottle is a cream and pink colored combination with macaroons, hearts & raspberry on it, adorable. I bought the 100 ml bottle which is the only size available.

I also took this away with me on a mini spring break, it’s a travel friendly bottle, there was no leakage whatso ever and it fit in my purse.

How it works?

When you shake the bottle, you can hear the liquid inside. Shake the bottle before use. The nozzle of the pump is like that of piping nozzles , so the foam comes out in a pretty shape with ridges. The pump is easy to press and the foam comes out quite easily.

The moment you take the cap off you can smell, the fruity -sweet , strong raspberry scent. The foam is white in color.

The foam is nice and airy, you only need a little. It is easy to spread and is quickly absorbed. When you start working it up you can sense a slight sticky feeling which quickly goes away as the foam is absorbed giving you satin silky hands and the raspberry scent lingers for over an hour.

Reapplication is needed after a couple of hours. I usually only apply hand creams at night when I am about to jump in bed, because in the day time I am constantly washing my hands.
The cream works well but the effect is not long-lasting . The foam is not rich enough to leave long lasting results. Nevertheless it works great for normal skin, may be a little less rich for dry skin.
