BareMinerals Flawless Definition Volumizing Mascara Review

I am a self proclaimed mascara-holic ,always on a hunt for a good mascara ,that would match up to the standards of my benefit they are real ,something that would lengthen and volumise at the same time ,and would last long without flaking. So this hunt put me across the mascara from bareminerals, flawless definition volume mascara. As a brand i really love, bare minerals and had great expectations from their mascara ,read on to know if its a leave it or love it.

I’m actually to report that this mascara review is a happy one.

The brush/wand of the mascara

The brush is a regular brush with bristles, none of that rubber stuff! The downside to it is that it is huge and it is difficult to reach the inner eyelashes with it without making a mess.

Packaging

it comes in a classic black packaging ,with a ash grey tube of aluminium ,and a black plastic screw on cap ,the tube actually feels a little heavy ,maybe because of the metal body ,but the matte tube looks classy.

Shade

black/noir.

Staying power

on me it stayed for about 7 to 8 hours ,but i did observe that the intensity does lessen after 4 to 5 hours ,but i don’t necessarily see any flaking

While I wouldn’t say this mascara increased my lash volume by 600%, I do like the results. My lashes look long and fairly full. If i desire more volume ,i coat on the mascara ,according my satisfaction ,but i doo notice if i go over more than 3 coats ,my lashes start to feel a little heavy .The formula of this mascara is on the dryer side ,so if you rub your eyes a lot ,you might see flaking a bit. The product applies smoothly. There’s a real trend for enriched mascara’s and ingredient-wise this is a total winner. Packed with antioxidants and natural extracts like apple and horse chestnut it leaves you with bold but feathery soft lashes ,until you pile on alot.

what can’t you like about this mascara! WOOOOWEEE! It lives up to almost all of its claims.
There are no clumps.
It’s super buildable.
It doesn’t smudge
It does great with separation on its own.
It doesn’t flake!
It doesn’t contain parabens. That’s always a bonus.
It keeps the lashes soft, but holds them in place. I hate when you sneeze and your lashes bunch all together. You definitely won’t have that problem with this mascara.
Overall, it just makes your lashes full and lush.

Cons of BareMinerals Flawless Definition Volumizing Mascara

I wish I didn’t have to apply so many coats to give the lashes the full look. I almost always have to apply 3 coats with this mascara to make the lashes really big.
