Bath & Body Works Cranberry Woods 3 Wick Candle Review: Hey guys, I am back with another candle to talk about. This time it is another BBW classic fragranced candles from their White Barn collection. As you will see in the photos, the candle literally came broken in the box when I ordered and since here in India, we have very poor return and exchange policies by websites, I had to compromise. I did call the customer services but they almost refused to help so I thought of keeping it, also because I did purchase it on a good discount.
How I salvaged it was, basically I took off the broken pieces carefully as many as I could and then transferred it into a glass jar which had a slightly bigger diameter than this. Luckily this broken candle fit right into the new jar like surface to surface. I just wanted to get some use out of it because on first impressions, it really smelled great to me and I did pay around 1500/- for it.

In Detail Bath & Body Works Cranberry Woods 3 Wick Candle Review and My Experience
The Bath and Body Works Cranberry Woods candle comes in a classic BBW glass jar packaging with a copper coloured textured lid. The label has this beautiful autumn leaves print on a background of pomegranate red background. It looks beautiful and so calm. The actual candle wax is white in colour.
I am yet to get a good candle lighter. I still use a normal homelite matchstick. So basically, this burns quite evenly and I trim the wicks after every burn almost. So I don’t notice any burnt wick particles on the candle. Also, it makes minimum smoke while putting it off. Tell me how to you blow out a candle? Do you blow it off or do you close the lid to cut off air supply or do you use a wick dipper?
How does Bath and Body Works Cranberry Woods Smell?
According to Bath and Body Works, Cranberry Woods has “Tart Cranberry, Cinnamon Bark, Forest Cedar, Golden Amber with Natural Essential Oils” smell. However I don’t entirely agree to this explanation. Even on smelling it cold, I was getting lots of punchy cranberry combined with woody cedar and appreciable creaminess. I really was not finding any cinnamon like smell.
When I burned it, the smell pretty much remained the same. Beautiful cranberry which is very prominent at the top and we have creamy, woodsy elements at the base. Amber is very very subtle and you will appreciate it if you really know how clean amber smells like. Again I did not find any significant cinnamon elements in the fragrance.
Remember, it is mostly a fruity-berry smell in a woody creamy base – if I were to describe it in one simple sentence. So my current room is an a pretty small room and the candle hardly takes like 9-10 minutes to dissipate the smell evenly in the room. So the throw is very good I feel. I could actually smell this even outside the room, down the hall.
The best part is, even after putting the flame off and closing the lid, the smell of the candle lingers in and around the room for like a couple of hours or more.
Overall I would say this is a fantastic fall/winter season candle. It has a really cozy and comfortable character. If you like woody smelling candles, you cannot go wrong with this.
