It was for this very brand that I am going to talk about today – Bella Vita Organics. I first purchased a few of their products almost an year back when I was living in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh. Some of them were really good while others were just okay. A few months back, I was looking for a natural rose water toner online when I came across this on amazon.

Reading the reviews, I got interested. Therefore I got it and have been using it since then. Please keep on reading below and I will tell you all about it and how this works on my skin.

In Detail Bella Vita Organic Glowner Rose Water Face Mist & Toner Review and My Experience

So was my purchase decision based on the fact that Milind Soman was modelling for it? Well no obviously because like I already mentioned, I have used products from this brand before when they were almost very newly launched. In fact, I have been using this toner for a while now, and it was only two days back that I saw Milind Soman on a Bella Vita ad on Youtube.

They probably used my browsing data and showed me an ad for something related to what I seemed interested in. Advanced AI (artificial intelligence) guys, I am sure this has happened with all of you before. Sometimes I am surprised because I just talk about something with someone and in sometime, I see a related ad!

Anyways, moving on to the product, the packaging that I have is now discontinued I think because now I see a fresh packaging. But honestly, I prefer the older packaging because the amber coloured bottle is actually photoprotective. Anyways, the newer packaging is pink but it looks like a lot of others in the market, I wish they designed the newer packaging to make it look like more unique. But other than that, the spray nozzle itself works fine.

Now moving on to the ingredients, I love the fact that they’re honest with it. Because most of the “natural rose water” producing brands never mention the full ingredients list. And most people just get fooled into thinking that there are no preservatives in them. The fact is, every bottled product needs a preservative. Sodium benzoate which is used as a preservative here is one of the most commonly used preservative and don’t worry its quite safe because if is often added in edible products as well.

Bella Vita rose water toner has steam distilled rose water as the main ingredient followed by water, aloe vera “extract”, cucumber “extract”, holy basil “extract”, glycerin and sodium benzoate. So the ingredients list is actually quite nice.

I usually use a rose water every single day. Not just as a part of my skin care routine but I also keep a bottle in my car. I just spray it on and as it vaporises, it gives a really nice cooling sensation. That is very very helpful during summers specially if you’re the one who drives for a while everyday like I do.

Performance wise, I feel it is a very decent performing toner. Although it has glycerine, I never felt sticky or anything. It doesn’t help with any specific concern as such, so if you think this will heal up something or prevent breakouts or anything, well I didn’t notice any such effects. But this definitely is very refreshing and smells very herbal. It does smell or rose, but not completely rose like. The rose smell comes with basil and cucumber I feel, so overall what I get is mostly herbal.

Overall I feel this is a very nice rose water toner. Extra points to the brand for being super honest with the ingredients list, for this they’ve gained my trust. So next time, if you’re looking for a rose water and you don’t want to spend a lot of money, this is better than most average rose water toners. In fact, more honest than most of the expensive ones out there.
