In Detail Benefit Benetint Cheek & Lip Stain Review, Swatches and My Experience

Benefit Benetint comes nicely bottled in a nail-paint like transparent packaging and a synthetic brush with really fine bristles. The product shows through the bottle and helps you keep track of how much you are using up. I love how this is a multi-purpose product that works as a lip color and blush in one.

Benetint – Shade Details

The color is a gorgeous rosy shade which makes your lips look “just-bitten” or “you-just-had-a-popsicle-look”. While on the cheeks, it adds the most natural flush of color like you just dozed on some berries. The texture is really runny and you will need just a little bit of product for the color to show up beautifully. Also, it spreads on the skin very easily without putting in much efforts. Due to the runny texture, you need to be quick with blending as it tends to dry up quickly and may leave patches if not blended in at the right time.

Finish, Pigmentation, Staying Power

I love the matte finish it gives and that healthy glow, which does not look like make-up at all. I am a complete sucker for natural looking makeup and Benetint gives me everything I want. On the lips, it takes a little time to settle down and show up, make sure you are not smacking your lips together as the color tends to wash away. The pigmentation on the cheeks is superb however, on the lips it takes me about three swipes to get the desired color – all thanks to the pigmentation on my upper lip. The lasting power is commendable as it stays put for a good eight hours and if set with a blush on top, the longevity is extended to two more hours. Do I need to say more?

How I use it?

I love to use this on my cheeks and work it with my fingers as I find that works the best for me. You could be using a brush or a sponge, whatever suits you. I just find blending easy with my fingers and I love how it gives me that natural flush. On the lips I just use the brush it comes with and nicely coat my pucker up with it, let it dry and I am done.

Overall Verdict

If there had to be one product that I’d love to buy over and over again, Benefit Benetint would be it. I love how this looks on me and how I do not need to carry a blush and a lipstick in my purse now. It is a great pick for days when you want to pull off that no makeup makeup look or you just have to rush out the door and have no time on hand. This will work for all skin tones especially for fair to medium skin tones. I am in love with this product and will keep repurchasing it.
