Biotique Bio Basil & Parsley Body Wash and Soap Review: hi guys, hope you all are in good health and doing well. Biotique is a known brand for natural products and considering its presence and availability it’s easier to get your hands on it.

I have been using the Biotique Basil And Parsley Revitalizing Body Soap for a while now and while I was searching for the same on Amazon I came across the Biotique body washes, they have quite a few variants in the soaps and the same ones in the body wash/ shower gel as well. In fact, I have always preferred the basil and parsley one in soap hence, I went for the same in the body wash as well.

Please note– We are talking in detail about the body wash. The soap performs almost the same and the results are similar except for the fact that its in a soap form. 🙂

In Detail Biotique Bio Basil & Parsley Body Wash and Soap Review and My Experience

Biotique advanced Ayurveda bio basil & parley purifying body wash, it’s said to be 100% soap free and is and ayurvedic recipe made of 100% botanical extracts. The body washes are available in 3 sizes 190 ml, 200 ml, 800 ml but the basil and parsley one I could only find in 200 ml. The apricot and honey cream is available in other sizes as well and I could easily find all 3 sizes of apricot one on various websites. So that’s something that needed to be addressed.

I would have preferred to get the 800ml variant of this but could only find apricot and honey cream but I prefer basil & parsley the most. The packing is different for all 3 but 200ml and 800 ml have the same concept.

One thing common in all the variants is that it’s a transparent plastic bottle and all the variants are color coded. The Basil & Parsley is a light green color liquid, apricot is light orange brown color liquid and so on.

As you must have observed the 2 variants 190 ml and 200 ml aren’t that different quantity wise. When I read it first, I got confused that I might have read it wrong but the major difference is in the packing of the two. The 190 ml bottle comes in a screw cap bottle and the 200 ml one comes in a pump bottle.

Let’s talk about the 190 ml bottle first, the screw cap bottle is perfect for travel and can be used at home as well. it has a small hole for the product output and the bottle is made of plastic which can be squeezed a bit as well, not too easily but its workable.

The 200 ml one is perfect for your everyday use at home, it can be kept in a place and just with the use of the pump you can get the product out. I find it very practical for everyday use and the fact that I don’t have to transfer it to a different container with a pump makes it one of my favourite body washes.

The 800 ml one again is a pump bottle but I couldn’t find it in this variant as I said earlier, but the difference in the price per ml isn’t very much but its still there. Plus, the bigger bottle would mean less plastic, lesser recycling lesser waste, ultimately better for the environment. For that reason alone, I would suggest if you like this product, it’s a regular one do get for the bigger bottle. It also has a soap variant which is available in two sizes 75 g and 150 g.

The formula is gel based and as mentioned on the bottle itself, is soap free, it has no preservatives, its organic, natural and pure. It’s very gentle and smooth on the skin lathers up easily.

It gives a very refreshed feel to the skin and doesn’t make the skin dry or parched but it feels hydrated, nourished and really soft. In times when I forget to put any moisturizer, the skin doesn’t look dry or anything but really soft.

You can use it by directly pouring a bit of product on the palm or use a washcloth, sponge or body loofah as well. Or you can try the soap as well if you prefer that, it gives the same result and both the products are budget friendly.

Its suitable for both men and women, it’s not heavily fragranced, the fragrance isn’t very feminine or masculine but a neutral light one which is very natural and smells a bit like fresh tulsi and neem. It does not smell even a little bit of soap or any chemical.

But since its gel based and natural the quantity needed to get the desired lather is a little more than usual body wash, it might be a lot more than your usual one or similar, it’s a personal choice and how you are applying the wash. A body loofah lathers up very nicely while using it directly might need a bit of work.

For e.g. – the body shop strawberry shower gel is again one of my favorites, I have to take lesser quantity of it as compared to the Biotique one

Take your usual quantity and then take more if needed, going with a larger quantity directly may lead to product wastage. Just because I need a little more than usual doesn’t mean you would too, smaller quantity can also work wonders for you.

It’s a good product and won’t disappoint you. Also try the Biotique Basil & Parsley soap, if you aren’t a fan of body washes. The soap has the same main ingredients and gives the same results.
