Hi my angels, How are you guys doing? I am sure everyone is enjoying the monsoons which has hit almost all parts of the country now. I wanted to do the The Body Shop Honeymania Shower Gel Review today since I have been really loving it. In fact, my husband enjoys using this shower gel too. Normally he thinks my bath products are too flowery or girly scented but this is one of those rare products he reaches out for in the shower everyday.

In Detail The Body Shop Honeymania Shower Gel Review and My Experience

I love incorporating Honey in my skin care routine. Honey is one of the greatest skin care miracle. It does everything which one can want for the skin. If you follow me on instagram you’d know I purchased all the products from TBS Honey Mania range. So let me share with you my first favourite from this range which is the shower gel.

It comes in a very standard TBS shower gel bottle which is transparent. The screw top with flip to open lid is golden in colour just to give it all the Honey feel. The labels on the bottle have all details about the product. I have always love this fact about TBS that they literally mention each and every detail about the product on the labels. They almost always have a standard dry peel label which keeps things clean, minimal and at the same time complete.

The product smells so much like honey suckle. The scent is quite intense when I try to smell it directly from the bottle however while I am using it in my shower, the fragrance becomes more soothing and soft. My husband has been using only this shower gel since I have kept it in my bathroom. I sometimes kind of love it when my husband and I use the same product. 🙂

How I Use it

I got the yellow-orange coloured Honey Mania loofah from TBS while I was purchasing these products. I like to take a coin sized amount of the shower gel and work it on my skin. It lathers amazingly well and fills the entire bathroom with the gorgeous sweet honey suckle aroma. Afterwards I wash it off and it does come off easily like regular body washes.

Effects

The shower gel foams up well and does an excellent job cleaning the skin. It leaves my skin moisturised and never let’s it feel dried up at all. The honey fragrance lingers around for about an hour or so. My skin feels soft and smooth.

To sum up I have to say its a pretty good shower gel which does everything a decent regular body cleanser must do. If you are someone who likes Honey, definitely try this shower gel out. At 450 Rs. for 250 ml, it looks like a good deal for such amazing smelling product made of some natural ingredients.

PS. I don’t know why TBS calls it soap free because clearly it contains lots of surfactants and other things. I mean just because a product is free of Sodium Hydroxide (also known as Lye), it does not mean its completely soap free.

8. TBS does not test on animals which makes me reach out for its products very often.

CONs of The Body Shop Honeymania Shower Gel

1. Not completely soap free- so I do not agree to this claim.
2. I would have loved it more if there were more natural ingredients in it.

If you like Honey, check out this shower gel next time you are at TBS. The products smell absolutely fantastic and work well on the skin without drying it out. This shower gel is priced decently so it would be an amazing gifting option for a friend as well.
