The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture Cream Review

Hi everyone, today I am going to review one of my favourite products from TBS. We have all heard about the great benefits of Vitamin E on our skin. It has amazing anti ageing properties because it basically acts as an antioxidant, which means it protects your skin from environmental damages. It is a great hydrating agent and also known for providing more flexibility to the skin.

My Experience with the Product:

As many of you know, I have combination skin and my skin does go dry during winters. I bought this cream during winters and loved using it. I am today going to review this little baby which was my skin’s best companion during winters.

It comes in a small tub packaging with a screw lid, much like the packaging of a small body butter. I really love the baby pink colour of the tub. Some beauties might not be a big fan of tub packaging as it may a be less hygienic form of packaging for a product which is meant to be used on your skin, specially face.

The cream has this really nice moderate consistency, and it smells super amazing. The smell lingers on for a couple of minutes may be, and then fades away. I take less than pea sized amount on my fingers to apply it on my entire face and neck area.

I find that this cream does not feel greasy or oily at all, in fact this absorbs really fast into the skin and takes away the dryness from the skin. It helps the skin stay hydrated for quite a long time I must say, approximately 4-5 hours when my skin is really dry during winters. When used regularly, I find that this gives a rather pretty plump glow to the face which I personally am a fan of!

The cream will last a long long time because I have used it for an entire winter month, and barely managed to go through 1/5th of it I would say, you can see in the pictures. You actually need a very small amount of product per usage, so this will last a long time.

My personal advice will be, dry skin beauties must try this lovely cream. It will definitely be beneficial to you. However my girls with oily to normal skin must try this baby only during the winters. “Winter is coming!” (sorry couldn’t resist that :P)

Summing up,

Pros of The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture Cream:

1. Nice consistency, not overly greasy. Doesn’t give a “chip chip” feeling on the face.
2. Gets absorbed pretty quickly
3. Hydrates and nourishes the skin well
4. Makes the skin very soft and plump
5. Vitamin E acts to provide more elasticity to your skin and it is one of the best antioxidants
6. Keeps you hydrated for a long time
7. Easily available online and in stores

Cons of The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture Cream:

1. Tub packaging, not hygienic specially for a product which is supposed to be applied on the face
2. Contains Parabens
3. Not fit for beauties with very oily skin

MBF Rating

For Dry Skin Beauties 4.5/5
For Combination Skin 4/5
