In Detail Bourjois Rose Exclusif Lip Gloss Review

When I saw this lip gloss for the first time, my eyes got pinned to “Rose” 😛 If you don’t know yet, I lovvveee Roses like anything. I need everything Rose out there in my vanity 🙂

This comes in a lovely rose pink and metallic tube packaging which looks quite impressive as per the theme. As you open the gloss, the wand is actually pretty long and it has a brush applicator. I like brush applicators because I feel they give me much more control on the application of lip products. It has a slight rose fragrance which I absolutely love!

The consistency of the gloss is pretty thick. When I apply it on my lips, it does feel pretty sticky. I mean if stickiness doesn’t bother you, you will totally be raving about this baby. When you freshly apply it, the gloss appears completely transparent. After quite a while, approximately 15 to 20 minutes, it changes into a pretty pink shade. Now, because this gloss changes colour based on the pH balance of your skin, it might take up some other colour on your lips which can be completely different from mine. So we expect it to transform into an exclusive colour according to the individual.

It is quite long lasting. It lasts on me for about 4-5 hours which is awesome for a lip gloss. This property may be attributed to the stickiness as sticky glosses do last a longer time as compared to the regular ones. I just love the colour it imparts on my lips.

Below are the swatches showing you how it looks in real when freshly applied. After a while it does change its colour to a pinkish shade.
