Colorbar All Matte Eyeliner Matte Green 004 Review, Swatches: Hello Girls, Today’s review is about Colorbar Green 004- All Matte Eyeliner. “Ask and it shall be granted”, I had heard and read these words a lot of times and when I saw this fabulous colored eyeliner in the store, I literally jumped with joy as I wanted to pick a dull toned green eye liner from a long time and I was glad that I found it in colorbar which is one of my favorite cosmetic brand.

I have been a great fan of this brand as all the products are super pigments and of great quality. I started using colorbar from 2011 and since then I have repeated the products that I bought from them apart from picking new ones. Though the price of the products has increased quite a bit, I dint mind picking the products from them due to their quality.

How to use Colorbar All Matte Eyeliner Matte Green

Shake the bottle well, start from the inner corner of the eye, move to the outer corner, look in the mirror, and then Don’t stop looking. Apply eyeliner as close as possible to your eyelashes. Gaps between your lash line and eyeliner look messy and uneven.

In Detail Colorbar All Matte Eyeliner Matte Green 004 Review, Swatches and My Experience

The matte liquid eyeliners from Colorbar comes in 4 colors (Matte Blue, Matte Green, Matte Black and Matte Brown) and I picked 3 of them baring the black. Frankly, I am a big fan of liquid eyeliners as I find that they stay intact no matter what and do not fade or transfer on the eyelids once dried. One does not have to keep checking in the mirror if they are in place which I have to do whenever I apply pencil eyeliners without applying base on my eyelids.

To be frank I picked the eyeliners because of their unique color and the super drying quality. The SA applied the eyeliner on my hand during trial and in seconds it was dry and intact.

Colorbar Green 004- All Matte Eyeliner is a beautiful grey toned, muted khaki green liner. It comes in a plastic packaging of black and green. The cap has a non smoothy finish and has the applicator wand attached which is quite firm. It felt more like a tooth pick tip to me as it did not bend or twist at all which is usually the case with the eyeliner brushes. The bristles are quite concentrated and tapered at the tip for easy application.

I generally prefer to use my eyeliner brush for easy application for all liquid eyeliners and use that when applying this eyeliner as I am not quite comfortable using a hard applicator on my eye lids.

The Colorbar green matte eyeliner has an excellent consistency and the ingredients do not separate as generally seen with other liquid eyeliners for which I have to shake the bottle before using. Here I just directly start the application and it glides on super smoothly without tugs or pulls. The eyeliner dries super-fast which make me pick this one more often. The finish is completely matte.

I have tried on this eyeliner for about 12 hours on any given day and it does not smudge or fade at all. However, I have noticed that it flakes a bit especially around the inner corners of the eyes by end of the day. The color though beautiful may not suit all complexions and may wash off. So I would highly recommend you to give this a trial before making a purchase.

Also its not completely water proof, as I have tried to splash water on my eyes accidently and did notice that it came out a bit. However, I prefer to use a good make up remover to completely wipe off the eyeliner from the eyelids and it comes out like a charm.

I found the eyeliner to be very expensive for the quantity offered. But since I loved the color I picked it up. It is not tested on animals and ophthalmologist tested. It’s a beautiful eyeliner that should be tried if you love colors on your eyes and don’t mind the price.
