You may think that I am sort of inclined towards them, but honestly I am not. I just really really love their makeup. So let us start and explore more about this glittery eyeshadow from Colourpop, and learn about my experience with it.

How to Use ColourPop DGAF Super Shock Shadow

For Max Coverage – Use your fingertip and tap shadow directly onto the eyelid. A flat, firm synthetic brush will also work and is perfect for detailed application close to the lash line.

To Blend – Use a fluffy synthetic brush with good movement, dip the tip into the shadow and apply with a “windshield wiper” movement throughout the crease of the eye for a soft and diffused look.

In Detail ColourPop DGAF Super Shock Shadow Review, Swatches and My Experience

The colourpop shadows come in this little white coloured jar. The actual eyeshadow pan is stuck inside the jar. The screw lid has a see through top with “COLOURPOP” written in silver colour. I totally love their packaging. The back of this jar has the details about the shade as well as the finish. However, there is no ingredient list on the product packaging itself. You have to refer to the ingredients from their website.

PS. My eyeshadow came like this. It was kind of separated from the pan for some reason. However, it is not destroyed or anything. So I guess this is okay because I can use it normally.

Texture, Pigmentation

The texture of the shadow is very smooth and buttery. I mean when you look at it, it looks super duper glittery. However surprisingly, you don’t get the glittery or chunky feeling when you actually swipe it or apply it. Needless to say, this formula is amazing. The pigmentation of the shadow is out of this world. It does 100% opaque in a single swipe. In fact, you swipe it once, and you swipe it again without touching the pan a second time, and you still get great pigmentation. The colourpop super shock shadow formulas are literally like pressed powder butters. That’s what my mind thinks when I try to analyse the formula.

ColourPop DGAF

Well “DGAF” literally means “Don’t Give A F***k”. I mean colourpop does name some of its products in a rather cheeky manner. But its cool, because the brand has that sort of modern, in the moment identity. Colourpop describes this shade as a “medium-toned rusty brown topped with multi-dimensional gold Ultra-Glitter”. For me, DGAF super shock shadow is a super gorgeous rusty brown with some metallic rose gold vibes to it with tons of gold glitter. This shade is totally unique. I honestly cannot think of an eyeshadow which looks identical to this from any brand.

Finish, Wearability, Staying Power

The finish is ultra glittery with a metallic base. Super cute I have to say. There is a slight glitter fall out while blending it but throughout the wear time, I did not see any random glitter fall outs on my face or around my eyes. Oh, and this shadow is super blendable. It lasts for 10 plus hours on me without fading. Even the glitters stay put till that time and do not show signs of fading. Honestly, I took off my makeup after 10 hours because I normally do not wear makeup for longer than that.

Overall Verdict

This shadow is a unique shade that scores ace in every aspect. I honestly cannot think of a single negative point. If you’re someone who enjoys such amazing glittery eye makeup, totally check out this shade DGAF. You wouldn’t get an identical shade in any brand as of today. I mean in $ 5.00 this product basically is a steal!
