In Detail Deborah Milano 117 White Kajal Eye Pencil Review, Swatches and My Experience

The deborah kajal comes in white color wooden pencil form with a silver cap. You can use your regular sharpeners to sharpen the tip. The tip is firm and wont break easily. The pencil looks really cute and is absolutely travel friendly.

The kajal pencil has pure white colour and the pigmentation is really good. One swipe itself gives a good coverage and with 2-3 coats you get a deep, bright white color. The texture of the kajal is smooth and it glides on well but I still feel it could have been creamier. It gives a matte-finish on application without any shimmery look which I really like. It glides on the waterline without tugging or pulling but you will need 2-3 coats as the moisture wont let the pigment come in one go. The kajal is pretty long lasting and does not smudge easily once it sets. The kajal has a mild smell, which is hardly noticeable. The staying power is good and lasts easily around 3-4 hours.

How I Use it & Effects

I have used it as a kohl and liked the effect it brought on my eyes. They looked more fresh and awake with it. On my first application I applied too much and I rather looked scary so you have to see how much suits you by applying coat by coat. I am usually good to go in two coats. Then next time I used it on my eyelids as a eyeshadow base and I was really happy with the results. First it made the eyeshadow color pop out and second it increased the staying power of the eyeshadow.

I also feel It is a little dry to be applied directly on the eyelids. I apply it on my thumb and gently dap on my lids so that I am not too harsh on my eyelids. The more amount you apply the lighter the color of the eyeshadow will become. The color will pop out but it will become a shade lighter. So, do keep that in mind.I applied a little too much of this kajal and put black eyeshadow that turned out to look grey. So, adjust the coats and apply and see what suits you the best.

More Ways to Use a White Kajal Pencil/Eyeliner

You can go creative with this kajal. Here are a few suggestions.

1. Eye Shadow Base: You can use the white liner on your eyelids before applying any coloured matte eye shadow. The white base brings the best of the colour and makes your lids look brighter. It also helps in making the shadow last longer and bring the original colour of the shadow.

2. Fuller lips: Another use of the white Kajal is it can make your lips appear fuller. Apply it on your cupids bow and below your lower lip and just blend it so that there are no sharp white lines. This gives your lips a 3D effect and makes your lip look more gorgeous.

3. Lip Liner: Who knew white kajal can come to rescue if you run out of your lip liner. Simply use your white eyeliner pencil as a lip base and apply it on your lips while blending it well. Your lipstick will stay longer and prevent bleeding of the lipstick color.

4. Brow Bone Highlighter: Just swipe the white kajal under your brows and gently smudge it. This will shape the brows and give you a sharp and clean looking brow.

5. Brighten the inner corners of your eyes: by applying a tiny amount on the corners and taking it slightly up onto your upper lid. It will give you a fresh, wide awake look.

6. Double up your liners: first apply a black liquid liner along your upper lash line, and then add white kajal pencil over top. It will give you a instant cool look.

Final Thoughts

Now using white kajal is a experiment in itself and may not suit everyone. If you are the experimenting kinds and like trying new looks then definitely go for it otherwise just skip it. It’s affordable and overall a good white kajal. I liked my experience, you can try it too and share your experiences in the comments below. For now that’s all,see you soon in my next review.
