D’Free Anti Dandruff Lotion comes in a purple color plastic bottle with a bright green nozzle with twist open mechanism for convenient application. The packaging is sleek and sturdy. There is no leakage and size of the bottle is also travel friendly.

The lotion is white in color and has a runny consistency. Its thin texture helps in easy application and absorption of the product into scalp.

The fragrance is very strong and might be a put off for sensitive noses. I did not have any issues with the smell, I kind of liked it but when it stays for the whole night in your hair it becomes a little too much.

How I Use it

I apply this lotion before going to bed and when I forget to do so, I put it in the morning as soon as I remember it and wash it off.I directly apply the lotion on my scalp through the nozzle and gently massage my scalp for even application. Some people felt a tingling sensation when they applied it, I did not feel anything as such. You wont even feel that you have applied anything in your hair, it has a very lightweight formulation. I wash it off using my usual shampoo and it comes out without any hassle. There is no residue left behind and you are left with clean hair and scalp.

Effects

I use this lotion 2-3 times a week and it instantly cures my itching. Dandruff was reduced significantly too. I used it regularly for couple of months and my dandruff stayed in control. The moment I stopped using it, my situation was back to normal. The main USP of this product is that it has anti-recurrence formula and it fails at that. It contains a lot of chemicals and parabens too which adds to its list of cons.

Overall, its yet another anti-dandruff product that works only when used regularly. I am yet to find some anti-dandruff product that will cure dandruff from the root.
