Good morning my beautiful friends,
Today we are going to look into this new launch from Dove. Dove Oxygen Moisture range was launched in the US and Europe much before, but I am glad they finally introduced it in India. I had heard a lot about it, and I was super excited to try it out. I have been using this for more than a couple of weeks now and here I am sharing my experience with you pretty people. 🙂

In Detail Dove Oxygen Moisture Shampoo Review and My Experience
If you are a regular at my blog, you probably know by now that I am not much in favour of using sulphates on the hair. However, since I had wanted to try this out so much, I decided to go ahead and give this a try. It comes in a similar packaging as compared to its counterpart in the US. A nice white opaque bottle with an aqua blue flip open top. We get 340ml for Rs. 292/- which is really amazing considering how some brands have been charging insane for their products. So Kudos to Dove for their fair pricing policy.
The shampoo is basically transparent with a tinge of aqua blue hue to it. When you look at it in the bottle, it appears blue. It has a very nice consistency which is not overly thick but sort of holds itself like a gel. It smells really fresh and may be a little bit floral. I find it absolutely refreshing specially when I am taking a shower in the morning.
How I Use it
I take a little more than a coin sized amount and work it into my wet hair. It forms a beautiful rich lather and is easy to work through. I take my time working on the roots of my hair. I never rub my hair together in between my palms while washing.
Speaking of the effects, let me just tell you, I have never enjoyed using a Dove shampoo as much. In the past, dove never really worked out for me as it used to give me hairfall 🙁 and I kind of gave up on Dove but ladies, this baby brought me back to Dove. 🙂
This shampoo cleanses my hair very well. It adds a little bit of shine to my hair. True to its claim it does give my flat hair some bounce which I really love. It does add volume to an extent, the hair does not look very flat and limp. The fresh floral scent lingers around for a couple of hours after wash. It did not overdry my hair. In fact, it did not cause any increased hair fall. It just lifted up my hair spirit super much and I have loved using it because of that.
I have used this on oiled hair as well. This does take out all the oil but you might have to use a little bit of an extra amount. I have been using this with the dove oxygen moisture conditioner and I hope I am able to review that in a day or two.
Overall a lovely shampoo which I guess it going to suit all hair types since it cleanses the hair super well and does not dry out the hair.

wow thanks for reviewing Astha ji….I really want to try this now….love your reviews….
Thank you Parul, I hope this works for you 🙂
oh this seems nice,..somehow i never warmed up to dove shampoos…though some of my friends swear by it!
I never loved Dove shampoos too, but unlike its ancestors, this worked well for me 😀 I am just scared that this does not start following its kind eventually. 😀
Not Just for ladies, it works well for men too. It gives a shiny look and Bumpy feel for a whole day. The fresh smell lasts for a complete day.
I tried this on your recommendation and so far its working really nice 🙂
Great review. I’ll give this one a try. But for long term, what shampoo would you recommend for someone with a sensitive scalp, and fine, thin, brittle hair?
Try to go for a sulphate free shampoo if you have brittle hair.
The shampoo is not up to my standard. First of all, it forms too less foam with hairs. Secondly, even after long use, my hairs are dry. Also, the shampoo is weak in dandruff removal.
