Hi everyone, I know its like 1 week past December already and my Fab Bag has reached me now. Well well, I do not expect anything better. Also, I am not decorating pictures of this Fab bag with much enthusiasm because if I do, they will steal it as the Fab Bag team has always stolen my pictures. I use the word “stolen” because in spite of me warning them over and over again to not copy my pictures, they continue to do so and provide links to other blogs through my images. The most disgusting part is, they actually remove or erase the watermark of my blog address from the pictures. Very professional isn’t it?

If you want to see it for yourself, goto your email inbox and go through the images in the emails sent by Fab Bag every month. You will find my blog images with the blog URL removed in most and links to other blogs around it.

Its 100% copyright violation but well, its no use telling them. I contacted them through social media like five hundred times. While my messages on their walls were constantly deleted, the inbox I sent were ignored with full glory. When I called them, the lady talked to me with full on disrespect and said “you 10th pass bloggers are too dramebaaz”

Now now my lady, I am not trying to boast or prove my above 10th standard qualification but just so that you know, I am a certified doctor at a corporate hospital where you would think twice before entering because of its glorious reputation. When you speak of bloggers, I do not take offence just for myself, but for my blogger friends as well. The 10th pass tag that you gave us, shows your ignorance. Most of the bloggers I know in India are more qualified than you yourself might be. I know bloggers who are IIT pass outs, Doctors, MBA and some of them are top IT/media professionals. Not just for the qualification, they are some of the most beautiful people I have had the privilege of knowing. We do not run the blogs for your interests, we run the blogs for our passion. Please take a note of it and never disrespect any human being irrespective of his/her educational qualification.

That being said, I just want to mention how utterly bitter my experience has been with Fab Bag team. I never spread hate through my blog but when someone crosses the line, I need to stand up for my niche. I was one of those persons who inspired my friends and viewers to subscribe to fab bag however by the feedback they have been severely disappointed as well. Fab Bag team is not only disrespectful, they are one of those people who do not own to their mistakes.

This is so sad that a company owned by well qualified lady and gentleman has stooped so low. Here is a snapshot taking you into the conversation with Fab Bag team. They of course had a look and chose to ignore it. Since rest of the messages on the walls were deleted by them, I do not have those pictures. The last picture is there to prove that the message was sent to the original Fab Bag team and its not a fake in any way. You never know what excuses or blames can the “phone lady” come up with.

So please mention your views on this in the comments below. I am pretty sure they will ignore this as well because anyways they consider us bloggers to be “10th pass dramebazz”. I do not care about what such ignorant people think. I don’t even feel like subscribing anymore when the people in their team are like this. Anyways they don’t send us any useful things. In fact, one of the products in my Fab Bag was missing last time and God knows if I will be getting that.

UPDATE: A lady from the Fabbag called and apologised for what had happened and took responsibility for the same. I am glad at least not all personnel at Fabbag are rude. In fact the lady who called was rather understanding.  She promised me that such incident won’t be repeated in future and none of the bloggers shall face a similar issue anymore.

  1. this is disgusting, and nobody has a right to defame even a tenth pass also, the way they tried to harass you. and basically this type of statements show the kind of staff training fab bag provides to their customer care people.i wish these”highly educated”people knew that stealing images itself is labelled as crime.

    • I wish they trained their staff to at least talk properly. They think “India mein sab chalta hai” but high time we tell them, this is not 16th century India anymore. They need to come out of their imaginary world and start respecting people. How I wish they would stop stealing. I won’t be surprised if they copied the images from this post as well in their next email.

  2. how somebody speaks about you shows more of that person than of you..maybe they are 10th pass or maybe not even that….i am a petroleum engineer and drawing a 6 figure salary…but i chose not to spend my hard earned 300 rupees for street brands and these crap cards! atleast what all of us can do is stop showing fab bag every month on our blogs…

    • And ashu why are you reviewing the bag every month with nice pictures when you know it is such a crap brand…people will not take you seriously if you keep reviewing these bags after all this drama!

      • Mily, I do not review the bag because I like it. I honestly do not have any interest in subscribing to this bag. I always show what I got in my bag so that my viewers can know about that month’s products in the bag. I do this because may be Fab Bag offended me, but I have a responsibility towards my viewers. I need to deliver to their expectations. 300 bucks a month is hardly even a movie ticket. Trust me, if they continue being like this to people, the day is not far when they see a steep decline in their reputation.

  4. This is certainly not acceptable.. I recently started writing and was planing to write about my fabbag but after learning this I am not gonna write anything about fabbag. this is disgusting and they should respond with due respect and courtesy.

    • Respect and Courtesy comes out of responsible people. By the language and tone of the lady I spoke with on the phone, I hardly believe that they have that quality in them.

  5. I had faced similar issue in 2013 when their team showed a full on unprofessional attitude. The brand has so much arrogance. I believe you should reach out to the senior management of fab bag. It shows that the team member wasn’t herself/himself a 10th pass

    • I called them because I wanted to talk to any senior authority.

      But I had only mentioned that “Hi, my name is Astha and I am a blogger. I am calling regards my blog images which have been copied despite repeated warnings and are sent out in your emails. Could you connect me to somebody I can speak to about this”

      Then came the phenomenally professional response of that lady on the phone. I felt sick about their work ethics and customer service. Not only it hurt me, it made me change my thoughts about their company.

  6. how dare they can address a customer like this yar? ridiculous. by tonnes of giveaway they have sponsored, they have a pretty good customer base I guess and that is why this arrogance. I stopped subscribing long back… not planning to do in the future too. there is no customization at all. now a days it’s all the marketing gimmicks that makes the brand popular

    • I guess that is precisely how they have built up their popularity. By hosting numerous sponsored giveaways. I completely agree about the customisation part. Not once did I hear anyone say that their bag was customised. Its just a random bunch of products sent randomly or sometimes not even sent unless the customer questions them over and over again.

  7. Oh Ashu! I become too much disappointed by reading this. Why that telephone lady behaved like that?!! She may be a person who don’t have even 10th qualification.
    Last week only I subscribed fabbag for the first time. And i didn’t received my first bag yet. I am too late to read this article. if i had read this earlier, surely i would not purchase this one.

  9. This is more than ridiculous… Its all their fault and they are blaming is or calling us names.. To hell with fan bag and their team.. They are nothing more than a Trash Team.. With highly unprofessional ppl onboard..
    Thankfully I never did subscribed to them and if this is how they deal with customers… **** off !!

  11. I can’t believe such a reputed company doing such things..!! You should take some serious action against them. Thankfully I haven’t ever subscribed for Fab bag and after reading this post I’m never going to subscribe.

  12. This is downright disgusting!! I am shocked to see their audacity. They steal your pictures and then talk like shit. I am very hurt and shameful that I renewed my subscription with them. If they don’t change their mindset and their behaviour (which seem impossible) they are on the verge of losing a great number of subscribers. I think they have not taken the ‘might of a pen’ seriously. God bless them. Thank you for raising your voice against this or else we would never have known their true face. Very sad.

  13. This is very bad. I faced similar experience from prettysecrets. You shd take action.. You cannot raise a DMCA complaint over it? Check it out.. It is online and hassle free. Such an attitude shd not be tolerated. More power to u girl!

  14. Fab bag should not have done this….the quality of products they send is anyways so bad….I mean it’s better to go to market and spend 300 on a single valuable product than a handful of useless crap…..make up k naam pe they send us bullshit
    All their fame is because of bloggers…..if they don’t respect bloggers…..they are underestimating…..
    Fab bag team needs to learn lessons on how to talk properly……not replying to so many messages is pure arrogance…..

  15. Thankyou so much for sharing this experience with all of us Astha. Fab bag always seemed below standard to me… don’t know why but never had a good feeling about it and so never ordered it. But after hearing your experience with them, their stealing of your pics and then the 10th pass response on phone… I seriously feel annoyed. I’ve had a bad experience with few companies too but I never let them get away with it. They had to admit their mistake and we’re apologetic too. If I were you, I would not let them be so cool abt wat they have done and I would have taken firm action as this seems to be a really serious matter to me. We bloggers n vloggers should stay united and keep sharing our experiences with each other. N as for some of these PRs you know how to treat them now!

  16. What else did you expect from them? They are downright rude and irritating. When I used to subscribe and thrice in a row I got damaged products and they made it sound like I had damaged them on purpose! The best part, the whole team is so confused that they keep following and unfollowing me on twitter 😛

  17. What better word to express my feelings!! This is ATROCIOUS.. I do not blame the staffs it is the management who gives them the leverage to talk to their customers like this!! I now dread of subscribing to their “not so fab bags”. :/ They think of bloggers as 10th standard pass outs man that statement really pissed me off!! -_-

This is ridiculous nd absolute disrespect 🙁 How can they use ure images even after you have told them not to & that comment is absolutely ridiculous & disrespectful…I guess you can raise a complaint thru DMCA..They protect content rights…I have never liked their bags Nd & Their customer service is like their quality of products..Too bad 🙁

    • I always used to adore your fabbag pics and the effort you put into clicking adorable pictures and noticed that few of images they have used but then i thought they must have paid you or atleast took with permisiion but sad to know the reality..

  20. I totally agree to each and every word you’ve written about them! When a bag of mine was delayed, I wrote several mails to them and they just kept beating about the bush, without giving a proper answer. The first few mails I wrote were polite, but seeing their increasingly rude and unhelpful behavior, of course even I couldn’t contain my temper. When the bag finally came, it had some really old product samples (from the previous months) and not even one sample that others got for that month! Can you believe that??? My subscription ended this month (with that stinky, cheap-looking heart-shaped bag) and I wrote a detailed review on my own blog stating I would not be subscribing again!!
    And who are they to call you 10th pass or whatever? What if a 10th pass wants to be a blogger? At least they’re following their passion. Who are these guys to judge??? Good lord!

  23. really the customer care staff is pathetic at fabbag…They don’t even reply to emails…I gave a hyderabad address and they shipped it to kolkata and I had to keep emailing and then shout my lungs out to just make them realise something was wrong…still haven’t gotten the bag
