Fabindia Avocado Body Butter Review, Swatches: Hello Beauties, How are you all doing? While winters are beautiful and we enjoy them with colourful woollens, bright make up, fried foods and loads of tea it has its own woes like dry and stretchy skin, dry hair to name a few. While I sometimes feel blessed that I stay down south where there is not much of a winter experience I do feel sad that I don’t get to use all the beautiful jackets and coats that I have hoarded in my cupboard over the years. They sometimes remain un touched if there isn’t much of a winter like this year.

But my skin does call for loads of body butters and thick oily creams to maintain its shape. My hands had never felt this dry before and I have to apply moisturizer every time I wash them. These days my eyes are on the different kinds of thick creams or body butters that are available in the market and I inevitable end up picking at least one of it whenever I go to the mall. Today’s review is about one such body butter that I picked from FabIndia, it’s called Fab India Avocado Body Butter

Fab India’s Avocado body butter has been there from a very long time. The revamping of the product packing makes every product appear new whenever I visit the stores.

The golden and pearly packing glorifies the product to a great extent and beautifies any cup board or dresser when placed. Somehow I feel that it oozes out the spirit of the festive season quite well.

The Avocado body butter comes in a huge tub shaped with a golden colored cap. The cap is screw type and has a white colored inner stopper for extra safety from spillage. I have taken the stopper off as I do not want to be fiddling with 2 caps in the mornings. But I have retained it carefully to put to use whenever I am travelling. It’s truly a saviour. The mild fragrance of avocados is prompt when the packaging is opened.

The Fab India Avocado body butter is mild green in color and for once I felt it was green colored Vaseline as the consistency and the texture was waxy.

When I scooped out the body butter a good amount of it came out due to the thick consistency. I had to really rub it hard on my skin for it to get absorbed due to the presence of bee’s wax.

The body butter does leave a thin oily film on application that could come from the cocoa butter, shea butter, sunflower oil and coconut oil that are present in it as ingredients.

However, the oiliness does not bother much as is not greasy and it gets absorbed into the skin in some time and leaves it moisturized for a very long time.

My skin does feel supple and the dry areas like elbows, feet, knees are in good shape. I felt the body butter is quite economical. Its easily available too.

Though I liked how this body butter worked on me I would definitely want to try more flavours and fragrances available in Fab India in the body butter range.

2. Its works in an excellent way to tackle shoe bites. Applying the body butter on the top of the feet thoroughly and the inner rim of the newly bought shoes removes friction and eases out the shoe bite problem.
