Fabindia Rose and Basil Face Mask Review: Hi Friends, Happy Holi to you all! Hope you are all doing fantastically well. I am enjoying the NYX reviews on the blog and the colorful palettes are driving me crazy. We have a Sephora nearby but unfortunately it houses very few NYX products and most of the good products are out of stock many a times. I do not enjoy online shopping much and prefer to touch and feel the products first before bringing them home and hence left with no option but to wait for the product to arrive in the store.

In Detail Fabindia Rose and Basil Face Mask Review, Swatches and My Experience

I love the wild rose fragrances a lot and have few products from Fab India with rose as one of Ingredients. They smell so natural and linger on for a while whenever I used them without any kind of an artificial feel. In addition, my recent obsession with basil is quite prominent. When I noticed a product, which had both rose and basil in them, I could hardly stop myself from picking it.

The list of ingredients in it felt like an icing on the cake which were Calamine, oatmeal, sweet almond oil , glycerin, turmeric extract to name a few. The good ness of these ingredients is hardly hidden from any of us who make face packs at home with these simple ingredients easily available in the kitchen.

The packaging also appeared attractive to me along with the affordable price. While the packaging is designed, beautifully keeping travel in mind by adding a flat stopper once the screw typed lid is opened, still with the wide mouth of the container there is definite question of hygiene that is at stake. Also accidentally if the tub falls the product will be wasted. I would have definitely loved a tube type of packaging here to take care of safety from spillage, hygiene and travel in mind.

Well, in the current scenario, I take the aid of small container into which I put the product for regular use that can be used for 3-4 times easily. This way I keep it secure from moisture in the bathroom too.

The Fab India Rose & Basil Face Pack is light brown in color- muddy to be more precise. It reminds me of peanut butter or some kind of a spread somehow because of its consistency. The face pack has a fine fragrance of calamine and rose.

The fine particles in green color evidently shows the presence of basil.

How I Use it

Though the face pack spreads easily, I generally prefer adding a bit of rose water during summers or almond oil during dry weather to make the consistency more manageable and thin for easy application. I use it once in a week after application of a cleanser and face scrub. I leave on the face pack for a good 15 minutes until it is completely dry and rinse it off with cold water.

Effects

The face pack does not cause any kind of itchiness, irritation or dryness on the face or neck. However, I still prefer applying a good moisturizer to seal and lock the goodness. The basil in the face pack reduced the breakouts to some extent and helps maintain my skin in good condition.

While there are many remarkable good face packs that I have used that gave me excellent results I would want to use the Fab India Rose & Basil Face Pack to maintain my skin well and keep it pampered considering the effective and economical cost that I pay for the same.
