In Detail Faces Ultime Pro HD Matte Brilliance Pressed Powder Review, Swatches and My Experience

The faces HD matte brilliance pressed powder comes housed in a matte black cardboard square box which has all the information printed on the box. Also the box has a thick sponge inside it to protect the pressed powder from getting damaged. This is really smart and I loved the outer packaging of it.

The actual pressed powder comes in a shiny golden compact case which has a few information regarding the product printed on it. Also it has a shut lock lid and it closes tightly also there is a thick sponge inside it which is again for me useless. Overall I loved It’s packaging its sturdy luxe and travel friendly.

The pressed powder has a very mild scent which is not bothersome at all. On the downside, the powder comes in 5 shades only, hence dusky beauties may find it difficult to get their perfect shade match.

In their liquid foundation, my shade is Sand and in this pressed powder my shade is Olive Beige. I noticed that in liquid foundation shades are different and in powders it’s different.

My liquid foundation shade “sand” is perfect shade for me (MAC NC42) but in pressed powder the shade “sand” is darker than my complexion. Hencem I will suggest you to go for a shade lighter in compacts.

This shade Olive Beige suits my complexion really well. If. you are nc42 in Mac go for this shade and if nc45 than the shade Sand will be perfect for you.

The texture of the powder is very smooth to touch and also it is not extremely powdery. The texture of this is very amazing I mean when I swirl my fingers onto it, it does not scatter everywhere. I mean it’s like a butter! just melts in because of the warmth.

The powder glides on my faces effortlessly and does look chalky or patchy. I like to apply this with my colorbar powder puff .I just press this powder with a puff all over my face and I am good to go.

It does not crease under my eyes and also does not accentuate open pores on my cheeks. The powder is very pigmented and coverage it provides is more than any other compact powder provides. It covers uneven skin tones really well if applied the way I suggested above.

Also the finish of this compact is matte, but on the extreme level. I mean all skin type girls can use this without any worried. I love to use this when I am planning to click some photos as it is really good for flash photography.

My skin stays oil free for good amount of time. I applied this 7 in the evening and when I was back home at 12 in the night my makeup was intact and also I didn’t felt the need of touch ups in between which was very impressive.
