Faces Weightless Stay Matte Compact SPF 20 Review, Swatches: Hello People, I am back with another review and this time I am reviewing a newly launched product from Faces called Faces Weightless Stay Matte Compact. I got this from Nykaa store in a mall while I was shopping.

I told the SA to show me some new launched products from Faces so she showed me this and an eyebrow palette.

I purchased this as it is very affordable. Also, I liked it when I swatched on my hands. Want to know more about this new launch matte compact from Faces? Please keep reading my views below which I have elaborated.

It protects and perfects at the same time. Introducing Faces Canada Weightless Stay Matte Compact – a compact powder formulated with SPF 200 PA+++ to give round-the-clock sun protection against harmful UVA and UVB sun rays.

The right blend of pacifying agents with vitamin E and shea butter, ensure the compact melts effortlessly into the skin and leaves it looking fresh and hydrated. How To Use Faces Weightless Stay Matte Compact

Gently swipe the applicator clockwise on the compact powder to get the desired amount.
Gently apply compact on your face and neck for a matte finish
Re-apply it after 3-4 hours for healthy and radiant skin all through the day
Follow this up with Weightless Matte Finish Foundation, Ultime Pro Matte Mousse Concealer and Glam On Perfect Blush.

In Detail Faces Weightless Stay Matte Compact SPF 20 Review, Swatches and My Experience

Faces Weightless Stay Matte Compact comes packed in a shiny golden colored sleek square cardboard box with all the necessary information related to the product printed on back of the box and it’s brand name and range name written on the front.

The actual compact rests in a shiny black round case which has very few information printed on back of the case. It has a shut lock lid which closes very tightly ensuring that the compact case does not open while travelling. There is also a round mirror attached to the lid and a puff provided which we usually get in any compacts.

I personally don’t prefer applying compacts with the puffs as it gives me patchy look I love to apply my compact with a powder brush or my wet beauty blender. Overall I really like packaging considering the price it’s retailed at.

The compact has a very faint cosmetic-y kind of a smell to it which isn’t bothersome at all.

Also this compacts is available in just four shades and the shades are Ivory, Natural, Beige and Sand. I choose the shade beige which is slightly lighter for my skin as I always buy compacts that are slightly light for my skin and it suits me and I love the outcome of my makeup when I apply these tricks.

The texture of the compact is finely milled and is super smooth on application. Pigmentation is sheer to medium. I would say it is better than average compact’s coverage. But on applying more than one layer there is this powdery feel on the face which is not very comfortable.

The finish of this compact is matte and applying lot of it can give patchy look to the face. I apply it everyday especially when I am going out in a day time and I apply a good bb cream and dust it all over my face with help of my powder brush. It instantly smoothens and brightens my face out.

It would work great on oily skin as it controls oil for some 3-4 hours but for dry skin using a moisturizer before is a must. It won’t clog your pores or break you out.

I have oily skin and it keeps my t-zone matte for about 3-4 hours only and after that I have to reapply.

MBF Advises

As it is matte in texture please don’t apply a lot of it as it can look patchy or cling to the dry patches on your skin.

And I would say it is nothing great but can be considered as an option for everyday wear. As the price is low it is not going to pinch the pocket.
