How to use Flower Beauty Shimmer & Strobe Highlighting Palette

Highlight parts of your face to define your features and add depth. Dab the shade of your choice on your forehead, tops of your cheekbones, bridge of your nose, below your brow bone, in the corners of your eyes, the center of your chin and above your cupids bow. Blend it out with our strobing brush.

In Detail Flower Beauty Shimmer & Strobe Highlighting Palette Review, Swatches and My Experience

This was a impulsive purchase for me. Drew Barrymore’s range has been pretty impressive in the US and when it was launched in India I wanted to try it for myself. When I first saw the packing and 3 beauty highlighting shades in one pan, I couldn’t control myself. Read along to know why I’m in awe of this gorgeous palette.

The packaging is a sturdy and classy white body. It has a transparent lid so you can clearly see all the colours. The packing is well built so you can totally travel around with this product.

It also had a brush included which is one of the best in built brush ever. It’s isn’t the best but it does it’s job well. And you won’t loose it as it’s pretty big. Also there are secure edges to keep it in place. The slant present on the brush makes it very easy to use.

Onto the actual product, this palette is AMAZING! It is drop dead gorgeous. I cannot even begin to explain how well this palette works.

First of all the texture of the product which is phenomenal. It has a very creamy feel to it. When you first touch the pan a very unique sensation is felt. It feels like a mixture of cream and powder product. So good is the texture that it seens as if it’s liquid or cream highlighter. It is very similar to colourpop super shock highlighter but has a little more drier texture.

It has 3 different shades.

Shade 1

A neutral pearly shade, this is winner for all the fair skin ladies. It has a creamy and rich feel to it. It will give a very intense highlight. It can mixed with deeper shades to make it more wearable for a particular skin type.

Shade 2

A neutral pink shade, best used as a blush topper if you like that kind of a thing. It probably will be the least used of the 3 from my side. But having said that it has equally as good a texture as others.

Shade 3 (My favourite)

A beautiful champagne gold colour. Totally up my alley! It’s a perfect match for medium yellow undertone skin. It is again very creamy and gives me the healthiest natural glow. I’m NC 35 in MAC and I get the most healthiest glow with this highlighter. It goes very well with brown eyelids and bold colours as well. This shade is comparable to the becca champagne pop

The texture of the product is consistent throughout all the shades. All the shades show up as non glittery and give a beautiful peralized finish. The sheen is so natural that it almost gives a natural sunlight glow.

I love how simple yet intense it looks. It will not be a streak of highlight if you blend it in well. Good blending technique and light hand will give you the best of the glow.

It blends in like a dream with a sponge as well as with a dense brush. It also wears for around 6-7 hours throughout my busy day and through sweat and dust.

At the end of the day it’s true to itself. It will shine equally as well bright as it does when first applied.

I feel this is one of the best highlighting trio present in the market right now. Even better than milani stellar lights highlighter palette which is more on the powdery side. You should totally give it a try.

Given that it’s vegan and cruelty free it is any day a better buy. I’ve been using it for good 2 months on everyday basis and nothing wrong has gone so far. I’m happy and highly pleased with this product and would totally recommend it!
