In Detail Fourth Ray Beauty AM To The PM Gel Cleanser Review and My Experience

The colourpop or fourth ray beauty Am to Pm gel cleanser comes in a transparent bottle. The full sized one has a pump dispenser. I have the sample size of 1 fl. oz. and this one comes with a flip top. This is actually my 2nd bottle, the first time I got it was quite sometime back and it took me almost 3 months to finish off the full sized bottle. Packaging wise, there is nothing to complain, I like it. It’s simple, it’s functional and it looks good on my skin care table in my bathroom.

It has a floral cleanser smell to it. It is nothing unique or very pleasant to be honest so I don’t think most people would be a fan of it. However, the smell does not stay after you wash off your face, so I don’t really see it as an issue even if you do not like the smell. The cleanser has a slightly runny cream-gel like consistency with a smooth texture. When you look at it in the bottle, it looks like it has a peach-y tint to it. But on your palm, the faint peach tint does not really show up.

How I Use it

Like the name suggests, I use it AM as well as PM. In the mornings, I do not double cleanse. I just take a pump of it, lather it and work it on my facial skin. After washing it off, it does not leave any residue behind. In the evening (or night sometimes), I use it after my balm cleanser as a part of my double cleansing routine. It works equally well along with a oil or balm cleanser as well.

Effects

I love the fact that it really cleans my skin super nicely without making it feel dry or stripped off. You may say, so what, there are a lot of different cleansers out there doing the same thing. But, did you know this one is vegan, cruelty free, paraben free and its gluten free as well. All this, at a very affordable cost. In fact, during sale season, you could actually get this for much cheaper.

My friend actually, who has been a Tretinoin user for 3 years now, loves this. Why I am telling you this is because, it is not easy for tretinoin users to find an affordable cleanser that actually works without irritating the skin. But this one has worked great for her, so I just wanted to put it out there.

Overall Verdict

I really like this cleanser. If you can get your hands on this, definitely do give it a try. You may try the sample size first. Its safe for all skin types. I have combination skin, sensitive at times and this has worked well for me. Because this isn’t drying in nature, I feel like even beauties with dry skin type would love using this.
