The Fresh AF facial mist (focussed around rose water and cucumber water), The Glisten up facial mist (with Vitamin C as the hero ingredient) and finally the Dew it facial mist (highlighting hyaluronic acid).

I actually chose this one because I was looking for a light, pick me up facial mist rather than really targeting any specific skin concern. Let me talk to you more about this below.

In Detail Fourth Ray Beauty Fresh AF Mist Review and My Experience

The Fourth Ray Beauty energising Fresh AF facial mist comes in a very minimalistic looking spray bottle. It looks lovely and very functional. Also, the spray quality is kind of average on this one. I have the smaller sized version because I got it as a part of a gift set from Colourpop. The bigger size, the actual size bottle comes in a similar tall bottle with a white coloured spray. I hope the spray quality is better in the bigger size.

When you smell the mist for the first time, you will be confused my friend. So when you go ahead and smell it for the second time, you will begin to appreciate the cucumber smiling through some slight white floral notes. It’s actually a beautiful smell, just perfect for what this spray mist is supposed to do.

How I Use it

So I use facial mists multiple times in a day. My goto facial spray is always a pure rose water spray. But sometimes I like to experiment and I am glad I came across this one. I use facial mists while I am driving because I feel like car air conditioners can make the inside air very dry. Plus of course, when the water from the facial mists evaporate, it gives a cooling sensation. We science nerds call is the “evaporative cooling” which of course feels amazing specially because I currently live in Jaipur which I feel like is always so hot (I mean literally).

Besides using it in my car, I also like to keep it in my fridge sometimes, for that extra coolness.

Effects

I feel like this is a really nice and simple facial mist spray. No fancy ingredients or big claims. But the beauty of this spray is in its simplicity. I love how this makes my skin feel. Just adds the right amount of hydration without making my skin feel oily or anything weird.

(My kid actually sometimes likes to pretend like its his perfume and he would spray it on like a boss 😀 ) Its looks pretty in a faint peachy colour and the fragrance is beautiful.

Overall Verdict

I feel like no matter what your skin type is, everyone needs a facial spray like this in their skin care routine specially if you’re always on the go like me. It just refreshes the skin, adds some hydration and gives a cooling sensation. And thats pretty much all it does, simple yet adequate. Therefore, I have nothing to complain about this product except for the fact that it is not easily available outside USA.
