Garnier Pure Active Neem and Tulsi High Foaming Face Wash Review
Garnier Neem + Tulsi face wash was launched this month and I grabbed it as soon as it was available in the market. I like to use a product properly and kind of get to know it closely before reviewing it. So I used it regularly for approximately a month.
Neem and Tulsi belong to a category of Indian Medicinal plants which are proven to rescue our skin from problems caused by impurities. They have innumerable documented benefits not only for skin, but for overall health. So Garnier came up with a face wash which inculcates the goodness of both. Let us read on to find out if this face wash does justice to its name and ingredients.

In Detail Garnier Pure Active Neem and Tulsi High Foaming Face Wash Review and My Experience
The Garnier Neem + Tulsi face wash comes in a pretty little transparent bottle with a slightly neon green screw top which has a flip open mechanism. I like how the cap is quite sturdy and once closed properly, there is hardly any chance of leakage. The product inside has this pretty light neon green hue which looks super cool. This has one of those peel labels which you have to turn over to see at the back. It covers almost every necessary aspect about the product. Love how they have worked sensibly with the packaging and written everything so clearly that we do not have to strain our eyes to read anything on the labels.
As soon as the top is opened, I get this herbal smell which has a nice balance of both Neem and Tulsi with some added freshness. I wasn’t really able to point out the 3rd prominent smell which felt pretty familiar, until I read the label which says Tea Tree leaf oil. In addition, this also has salicylic acid in it which I am sure everybody knows is an excellent ingredient in a face wash meant for acne prone skin. So ingredient and packaging wise, I probably would give this a complete 5 star rating! The consistency of this face wash is moderate to thin. Appears like a gel but feels like a regular face wash.
How I Use it
Everyday morning after I wake up. I also use it after I get back home in the evening and before going to bed. Basically I have been using this as my primary face wash since I got it. I have this little face brush. I wet the brush and pour a pea sized amount of the face wash over it and work it on my face and neck area. It lathers into a very rich and soft foam. I wash it with normal water and it washes off pretty easily as well.
Effects
The Garnier Neem + Tulsi face wash cleanses my face absolutely perfectly, what we call squeaky clean. It just removes all the oil and dirt from the skin and makes it look very clean. Because I have combination-oily skin type, this gives me an amazing face wash experience as it takes away all that stickiness from the face. I also notice that it brightens up the face a little bit, temporarily though.
However, my only concern with this product would be its drying nature. After the wash, if I do not use a moisturiser, my skin feels really dry. This may be due to the salicylic acid in it. Speaking of Acne Control I have to say this has helped keep break outs at bay. I do not have active acne on my skin, but I usually get some breakouts around the T-zone and around the chin area during that time of the month. This really helped me dry out those breakouts and prevented newer breakouts.
Overall I would say I have been loving this face wash. In this humid weather these days, when my skin decides to behave extra oily, this has really helped calm down my skin. It has a drying effect on the acne and helps to prevent breakouts and controls them. I specially love it since it has such amazing ingredients to keep germs and impurities far away from our skin.

MBF Advices
1. This product will very well suit the combination and oily skin types.
2. Dry skin beauties would need a nice moisturiser after using this.
3. If you have acne prone skin, never rub your skin harshly. Use you finger tips to make circular motions while washing your face.
4. For acne prone skin, I would not advice using hot water to wash the face even in winter months as it may further irritate the skin.
5. Never forget to use a toner after washing the face.
